What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (4 Viewers)

Alesmith decadence to ring in the New Year. Thanks to Skylord from BIF I.
I'll be interested to hear how its aged
Excellently  Alcohol is still a slight bit forward. Carbonation is light. Otherwise, this is top-notch. Malt and hop character are well-blended. I've enjoyed many old ales, and this comes in a close second to Adam in my book. Thanks for the opportunity on this one, and I'm going back to finish it off.Think I'll go with a Jubelale or 2 after this

The Lost Abbey Avant Garde.

I've got a healthy buzz going right now. Actually, probably not so healthy since I've been drinking since noon...but what ever.

Watching nothing. Changing channels between whatever I find interesting on the XM stations on directv. supertramp right now.

I'll get that question at some point. She's already in bed and I'm holding out for the 3-hour live set of Crystal Method from San Fran at 3:00am on Sirius 34 boombox.

Inversion IPA.

went to a bar with no good beer last night so i gave some mixed drinks a shot.

is amaretto on the rocks a chick drink?

i also tried scotch "neat."

it was a horrible experience.

happy new year.

I'm enjoying Culdeus' homebrewed porter. I great looking beer, poured a clear deeeeeeeep red/brown, nice light tan head. Great mouthfeel, nice smokey aroma and taste. A very nice beer, probably not as "substantial" as a lot of porters, but one I could drink several of.

I'm sitting on mine. Should I wait much longer, or is it ready to go? culdeus said it could use a little bit of time.Having my first RRBC Salvation today. Gotta say that I'm happy as heck that I bought a case of that one. Wow. Dark Ale that finishes with that (now) famous RRBC touch of sour finish. Just the right balance between StB Abt 12 and any number of their sour beers. Best of both worlds in my mind. Also had the Founders Bad Habit (Belgian Quad). Nice, but lighter than most of that style I've ever had. Still another great one from Founders.I must say that the Southampton Grand Cru I had was funky. Lots of stuff going on, and it seemed like too much actually. Also tasted a little off. That came from TT, so I think it's just my own tastes that made it off. I liked it actually, but was somehow expecting even more from it.Not sure what we'll tackle after the Salvation. :lmao:

I'd say it's ready. It's nicely mellowed, I wouldn't expect aging longer to improve it.

Where is Tip Top? He hasn't been around for a while now. Probably working, its got to be a busy day for his company.

I was busy as hell at work yesterday trying to get out early. Then I came home and got ready for people coming over. Had about half a keg of Celebration last night. Then a couple people stayed over in the room where the computer is so I could get online and check in.

The one you gave me is still in the basement. I somehow have gathered a few of these in various trades.
you're just saying that to try and win me back
Do I have to go downstairs and take a picture? I have two more bottles. I have so much beer right now I bought another rack so I didn't have so much piled on the floor. :own3d:

Not literally, just felt like I had that many. I would guess 20 or so pints.
