Per your suggestion, I picked up one of these and am having a taste now. Its unfair to drink this on the same night that I had a Stone 10th, but I agree that it is a pretty good double. Its fairly sweet in the malt and a pretty good dose of piney hops making it a well balanced beer. Not the best, but still a good offering.
To see, showcase?
Ruination is a good brew... anytime you are in MI stock up, it is everywhere.

Only certain ones, ones that hold certain meaning/memories/knocked my socks off. Still have a full bottle from the last six pack my dad ever bought me, for example. Also have an empty HotD Fred and am still looking for my socks from that day, which explains the stench down here.To see, showcase?

I *strongly* recommend sharp cheddar with the Carolina Porter - tremendous pairing in my opinion.

Had a Southern Tier Unearthly DIPA at Mahar's tonight. Serious hop bomb on tap - gotta think that this would be insane on cask.
A bud on Long Island tried the new Blue Point double IPA on Saturday - floored him. Should be out soon.
Niagara Falls Olde Jack Strong Ale from The Box In The Corner. Survived well, nice and malty.
