What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (1 Viewer)

Stepped away from the office with some coworkers for a beer. Local wine bar just put some taps in...had an Alesmith Nautical brown and Lagunitas IPA.

Now that I'm home, I reckon I should crack that growler of barleywine TT sent me. Tonight is going to end bad.

 
I need to pair something with monterey jack n jalapeno.

these are my options:

FS walker 10

Old Ruffian

Old Stock 2005

Victory Old Horizontal

Bigfoot

Old Guardian 2007

HOTD Fred from the Wood

HOTD Adam

HOTD Doggie Claws

HOTD Rose

Third coast old Ale

I'd like to age most of these but am willing to drink one tonight. Do any of these pair with that cheese or should I just eat that (I didnt buy, btw) while I let the beer get cool?

edit: I also have some stouts but would just assume they wouldnt go with that cheese.

I wouldve guessed Bigfoot 07 had I not gone on here and asked.

I'd like to pull a trade without having to buy anything else or at least no more than a bottle or 2.

Thirsty Dog Siberian Night (More on the chocolate side than the coffee side)

TH Liberator Dopplebock

Double ******* 05

Cadillac Mountain Stout (Comparable to Rogue Shakespeare)

those are the main 4 but I got an oaked ******* I can throw in along with a Storm King if desired.

I'll open up to BA if no one here tickles my fancy.

I'm going to let the Rose sit for a decade I think. Or more.

These cheese has some kick to it. It'll be interesting to match it up to Bigfoot.

yeah, I talked to him a bit... he still had a ton left over. I am waiting on a 95 Eccentric Ale and 95 Expedition Stout that I purchased. They were a bit pricey, but figured wtf, why not.

Ugh. Was up till 4am playing guitar hero. My fore arms hurt so bad I can barley move them. Growler was very good
