What player are you most worried about going into the Championship? (1 Viewer)

Gotta be Victor Cruz for me. Gotta start Miles Austin against NO, and gotta start Amendola against TB. So ... Cruz gets the FLEX spot over Greg Jennings. He's @ BAL. Must win game for the Giants. But after this last loss to Atlanta ... I dunno about that team. I bet they wish they still had Brandon Jacobs to pass block. Expect him back next year.

I feel like I should be excited about Rodgers going against Tennessee.... but I'm not for some reason. Lynch has been that plug in and forget player for me all year, but he's got the 49ers this week. I'm playing both anyway but not getting my hopes up for points.

I'm actually a bit worried about AP. With all of the talk of breaking Dickerson's record, I have to think Houston is going to want to shut him down that much more. I also think that if things start out poorly, he might start to press and try to force big runs rather than let them happen naturally. He'll no doubt be in my lineup, but I would not be surprised if he fails to surpass 100 yards for the first time in 9 weeks. Of course, if he has a long TD run early on, then it would be Houston's defense that I'd be worried about. Bottom line I just hope he stays patient like he did last week. Wasn't much going for him, then bam, 82 yard TD run.

RG3 for obvious reasons

Andrew Luck (2-QB league...hard to play at Arrowhead stadium, Peyton didn't do so hot over there)

Darren McFadden for obvious reasons

Jimmy Graham.

I don't think that I can possibly bring myself to sit him (unless they actually shut him down, as has been speculated), but I am not confident at all.

Matt Ryan. I hate having a player going in an early game (even though Saturday is better than Thursday). I also have Matt Bryant in that game.

In terms of fears of performance, I'm worried about Hakeem Nicks. I've been starting him all season, but will probably bench him this week. I'm worried he'll blow up and be the difference between a win and a loss.

I need to pick two of Reggie Bush, Doug Martin and Alfred Morris. Probably going with Bush and Morris but I'd like to play Martin.

Then either Jennings, Shorts or JJones (along with Steve Smith and Calvin). Probably rolling with Shorts but I'd like to play Jennings or Jones.

First of all, your post is a blatant WDIS and isn't even close to being on topic. Second of all, you're considering benching the 3rd best RB this year for Reggie Bush. Let me show you the door.

Jimmy Graham.I don't think that I can possibly bring myself to sit him (unless they actually shut him down, as has been speculated), but I am not confident at all.
:goodposting: I love the guy but I have no confidence anymore either. If he couldn't shred the Bucs' horrible pass defense I'm wondering if all hope is lost at this point. If I had someone like Heath Miller as my TE2 I'd probably be starting him over Graham this week. Sounds insane but the last month has been absolutely brutal and I'm not seeing any positive signs with Graham right now.

Jamaal Charles. Would be nice if he paid off in the championship game after an up & down season
The guy I'm playing has Charles and still won last week. He also has Eli and I would have preferred that awful game have come a week later. For me, I'd sure like to see Gronkowski back on the field.

I think that Detroit is cooked, so I don't think that Ryan is that much of a concern. And yes, Saturday is much better than Thursday. I was glad to see Ryan put up a nice game last week, though. I will admit that before that, I was a bit concerned.

I can't believe I am going to put in a claim for Sam Bradford to start for me. I am not rolling out Josh Freeman ever again.

This too. As a Pats homer I've started him all season. Great matchup this week, but you know BB isn't happy at all with his fumbles the last 2 weeks. I'm starting Moreno over him, can't afford another dismal performance or a possible benching if he fumbles again. Plus I think we might see Bolden again this week.

I have 2 worries - my RBs - J. Bell and A. Green. At least I made it to the championship. Stud RBs my ####

Peyton (seems like the emergence of a run game has killed his value)

Ray Rice (I don't know what is going on with the Ravens, and the G-Men are a tough mathcup anyway).

Frank Gore (horrible matchup)

Ridley (if he fumbles again...)

Brandon Marshall (bad matchup, but can't sit him)

DX (bad matchup, and I will sit him)

Any players that you guys see sitting out the second half? Any playoff spots locked up to the point that a win wouldn't really help the team? I know that since division games are taking place towards the end of schedules that it prevents this somewhat.

How about Matt Ryan, does he really need to play the entire game? They're 12-2.

Brees. Traded for him to make the big playoff push. I expected last week, but the 1-2 TD, 9 INTs before that make me really nervous heading into the Dallas game.

If the Falcons win they clinch the No. 1 seed in the NFC. I doubt Ryan sits unless it's a massive blowout in the second half. And if it is chances are high Ryan had something to do with it. If you've been starting Ryan all season I see no reason to be worried about him this week. I'd start him with confidence.

Charles. May have to bench him.
Against the Colts rush defense?Anybody benching Charles is crazy.
Can't afford to have the Chiefs coaching staff sabotage your championship game. For me, it's choosing 2 out of Lynch, Charles and Moreno. Hard to bench Lynch right now, waiting on Justin Smith news, he's probably the safer play. Obvious nightmare is having whoever sits blow up on your bench. The Chiefs just seem to give up on the running game too damn easy. They were not out of the game against Oakland at any point, didn't run very many plays overall. They are horrible

Benching him for Dez. I guess it really comes down to the options you may have.
Exactly this. If you are debating between Charles and Morris or Bryant or Murray, that's a whole other situation. It's when you're trying to decide if you should start Bush, Wells, Greene, etc where IMO you roll with the Stud that helped get you to the playoffs/Super Bowl.

Yup. Kinda comes down to which would make you puke harder: Sitting Charles and he blows up and outscores your option OR strating him and losing and telling yourself "you KNEW the Chiefs would kill you...AGAIN!"

How do you even contemplate benching Lynch? Unbenchable. Threw up 103 rushing yards on the road vs. SF in Week 7.

I'm actually optimistic about Lynch. Had 100+ yards @ SF earlier this year, 49rs coming off a tough game against the Patriots, Seattle at home, Wilson a different QB now and can keep them honest, and Lynch is well rested with only 11 and 10 carries the last 2 weeks. He's ready for a 25 carry day.

Ray Rice (I don't know what is going on with the Ravens, and the G-Men are a tough mathcup anyway).Brandon Marshall (bad matchup, but can't sit him)
Note that the Falcons put up 34 against the G Men. I wouldn't worry about the matchup THAT much. The game is in BAL and BAL just got embarrassed by DEN. BAL NEEDS this game badly. I expect a healthy dose of Rice given that Torrey Smith may not play.Marshall is a beast. AZ D is good but not that good. He'll still get you 6+ catches.

Doug Martin. I'm hoping Tampa doesn't put up another stinker and have to abandon the run again.
After seeing what ADP did to them last week, I'm worried that Martin will go off against the Rams. (obviously facing him). My fear is that Freeman doesn't get his head out of his ### to hit Mike Williams when he's wide open. Also nervous about Nicks - may not even start him as a flex. Seriously thinking about playing Greg Olsen over him - better chance to get a TD at home vs. the Raiders. Do worry about Spiller vs. the Dolphin run D - hoping that he can get some screens etc or break a long one. He will get stuffed several times. Hope the "braintrust" (oxymoron if there ever was one) in Buffalo can come up with a decent gameplan. Hoping Calvin at home can still go off vs. Atlanta pass D.

Our playoffs are 2 weeks for the Championship. Ive got Decker. My only concern is that the Broncos get up on the Browns/KC early and pound the ball.

Im also not sure what to think of Tynes.. he's missed a few FG's the last few weeks. The Giants long snapper was responsible for 1 miss but Im not sure about the others.

Tom Brady because what if they get a big lead and then start running the ball? #2...Roddy.
Roddy maybe, but don't overthink Brady. Bill is going to want to put up 70. I'm going against Brady, Welker and Pats K in one championship and i'm terrified. Ridley and Vereen are fumble machines. They are going to get up to a big lead but it's on Brady's 4 1st half TD's.

Roddy did stink up the joint in two out of the past three weeks, but I'm still starting him. The Lions matchup looks good.

I'm worried Ryan will be on the sideline for the second half.

I'll echo the folks that are concerned about Marshawn Lynch, and I'm a Seahawks homer.

Based on what I've seen from Darrel Bevell (Seahawks OC) I think Lynch will be used heavily in the play-action which requires a lot of "running him into the wall" to set up the downfield strike. Now that doesn't mean Marshawn won't have success, but there are basically a fair amount of designed 1-yard runs in order to set things up. With most teams he actually turns them into 3-6 yard runs on a regular basis. I don't anticipate this happening against the 49ers.

I don't have any other options though and it would be downright crazy for me to sit him (who I pair with Adrian Peterson for by far the most lethal combo of RBs in my league). But something about this matchup worries me.
