So which did you pick? These two shows aren't even really comparable and shouldn't be mentioned together ever again.
It is like asking, should I start watching Breaking Bad or Days of Our Lives? So which did you pick? These two shows aren't even really comparable and shouldn't be mentioned together ever again.

Loved Orphan Black. Can't wait for a new season.Start watching Orphan Black if you haven't already. Then Peaky Blinders.
Seconded. I liked the second season with Rollins but really, watch the first season and then get out while you can.Stay as far away from SOA as you can
Unless you want to stop after season 1. Ill leave that choice for you to make

But I also know what SOA is - a glorified soap opera.
I've read how the show sucked once they went to Ireland or something but thought maybe this last season brought some people around again.Seconded. I liked the second season with Rollins but really, watch the first season and then get out while you can.Stay as far away from SOA as you can

The name clearly is a turnoff until you realize it's an actual name of a gang that put razors in the tops of their hats.Never seen Peaky Blinders. No idea what it's about although I see it on my Netflix menu. I've seen SoA. My suggestion would be go with Peaky Blinders, despite the moronic name.
Mrs. SB watches Revenge. Deleted my original response, trying not to spoil the show, but it started turning more towards soft family drama (someone mentioned soap opera for men before and that's fair) right around when they went to Ireland, and that's when I tuned out. Tried to get back in to the show via netflix a couple times but couldn't.I've read how the show sucked once they went to Ireland or something but thought maybe this last season brought some people around again.Seconded. I got an advanced screener on that but I just don't buy Artemis Gigglethorpe as Winchester Featherbottom. Both those shows are OK. But, I'd wait for the BBC2 show, Sir Aldrich Arterberry and The Cheeky Chippers of Featherbottom Palace
If by epic you mean absolutely awful and stupid, then yes. I hear about or watch youtube videos of some of the bigger scenes throughout the series though and they do make me wish I'd stuck with it. Heard the ending was pretty epic, may catch only that or the last two episodes at some point.
Yikes! I was a bit curious why I didn't hear a lot of talk on FB about the ending. I have some friends that are always posting about it.If by epic you mean absolutely awful and stupid, then yes. You hit it on the head
Kinda like Dexter after season 4?Watch SOA through season 3.
Stop.
Assume everything was fine after that and never watch it again.
I never saw Dexter but from everyone that ever talk a about it, yes. Just stop after Season 3 finale. That's the high point if the show. It falls off a cliff there after. The good part is that there's no real loose ends to tie up from that point. Just assume they went about their lives and you'll be much happier.Kinda like Dexter after season 4?Watch SOA through season 3.

They were being vague on my morning radio show yesterday to avoid spoilers (or possibly to troll) but they had me curious to know what happened (I'll take a spoiler in spoiler tag if it's worth posting). If by epic you mean absolutely awful and stupid, then yes. You hit it on the head
Season 4 was when Juice began to think he'd get kicked out because he was black. So no it was awful. Not sure if this helps you make a decision, but:
SOA: 7 Seasons (92 episodes total)
PB: 2 Seasons (12 episodes total)

Sorry, I was referring to Dexter. I misread and thought you meant to stop watching Dexter after season 3.Season 4 was when Juice began to think he'd get kicked out because he was black. So no it was awful. Not sure if this helps you make a decision, but:

No worries. As long as we're clear on SOA.Sorry, I was referring to Dexter. I misread and thought you meant to stop watching Dexter after season 3.Season 4 was when Juice began to think he'd get kicked out because he was black. So no it was awful. Not sure if this helps you make a decision, but:

That actually is playing a part in the decision. We don't really binge watch TV shows and there are a ton of shows coming back early next year. We could get PB in before the end of the year but SOA will take years to get through. Not sure if I'd want to put that much time into a show that even it's fans have complaints about. I don't think I could watch 3 seasons and just stop. Not sure if this helps you make a decision, but:

Agreed, I just finished watching the final season of BE and was looking for another series to catch onto. Craig Ferguson had C. MurphyNever seen SOA. Peaky Blinders is really good though. Highly recommend, especially if you're a fan of Boardwalk Empire.

Stop after season 1, season 2, season 3If you watch SOA just stop after season 2. You might want to keep going, but trust me, it's just not worth it. First two seasons are pretty solid though, season 2 in particular is really good tv.
Sepinwall ranks the first two seasons as great TV and I'd agree. Just quit after that and pretend it is like Deadwood or some other show that was cancelled before its time.Stay as far away from SOA as you can

That's the problem. I know I would stick with it and be cursing myself for it.Sepinwall ranks the first two seasons as great TV and I'd agree. Just quit after that and pretend it is like Deadwood or some other show that was cancelled before its time.Stay as far away from SOA as you can

Blow up your TV after finishing season 2. Then you can't stick with it and you've done yourself a favor. That's the problem.
