What To Do Near Knoxville/Nashville (1 Viewer)

Have a flight out of Knoxville in a few weeks, so will have about a half of a day to kill.  Are there any can't miss restaurants/breweries?  Saw Calhouns on the River recommended on another board...but wanted to check in here as well.

The Gaylord Opryland Hotel was off the hook.  Several huge indoor garden areas with waterfalls, fish, a billion trees and flowers, the works.  Probably the most beautiful hotel I've ever been in.  It's maybe 20 minutes outside Nashville and totally worth the visit.

And @Da Guru has you covered on the eats and music.
We've been every year since I was a kid. I take my kids now. It's awesome

Heading to Dollywood next week - uncertain how many days we will go (we get unlimited for a small price with the cabin we are staying at).  Looking for recommendations/info on the following:

- how many days to go (I'm thinking 2?)

- is the Timesaver Pass worth it?

- what are the can't miss ride (if any)

- food recommendations in the park

And any other details anyone may have.
Awesome park

Should absolutely go during Christmas time. That place is decorated to the 9s. Unreal and so cool

Very nice place. Been going there on holidays since I was a kid.  It's too bad Opryland USA isn't open anymore. Best theme park ever.

Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is definitely spectacular and you don't have to get out the car if you don't want to.
