What will be the ADP for Micheal Vick (1 Viewer)

I think if anyone drafts him next year it is a last round flyer depending on when your draft is. The earlier the draft, the more likely he is to get picked in the last round

But I also think he does not play. He has not been a free man and had to watch games knowing it. Add in that if I am Arthur Blank, I go to Goodell and ask that he is suspended for the year. That will mean I dont have to pay him and wont take a tremendous cap hit. The longer he does not play, the better for Atlanta who were screwed by him in the first place. Plus if I am not mistaken, there is still money ramifications for the Falcons dealing with Vick

Another question. Is he actually a free man or just out on parole and how does this impact him moving from state to state ?

I don't think he'll be punished much by the NFL for what happen on his property.
What does "his property" have anything to do with anything.Goodell has yet to bring the hammer down on Vick. One year..... minimum starting in 2009.
:goodposting: Definitely. If anyone thinks Goodell is just going to let this guy walk back onto the field in 2009 then they're delusional. Amazing how quickly people forget what this guy did. He'll be lucky if he ever plays again IMO.

He will not be reinstated next year - he will not be an active NFL player and he will not available for fantasy football drafts.

 If Vick never plays again it will because of diminished skills or lack of opportunity, not a lifetime suspension

The dude just missed two years and spent a year in jail. He's probably never going to be rich again, as he's practically bankrupt and likely will never get another huge contract. He's facing a huge up-hill battle to ever be a starting QB in the league again.

Why suspend him for another year? This is one time when I wish Goodell would just turn the page and let Vick have a shot at playing football again. There are wife-beaters and murderers playing in the league, surely a reformed dog fighter that spent a year in jail can play in 2009.

Vick never figured out how to be a real QB before his suspension. I doubt the year off did anything but erode his skills. He'll be 29 when next season starts. He's extremely controversial. I think other teams may give him a shot, but I doubt he'll ever be a starter in the NFL again (maybe a spot start here or there as a backup QB filling in for the injured starter, but that's about it). I think he'll be a journeyman QB when he gets reinstated, he'll bounce around from team to team, eventually no one will want him at all, he'll continue to get into trouble as he realizes that his time in the spotlight and his money are fading away, and eventually, his tale will come to an end, and his whole career, and probably his life, will be looked back upon as tragic. And he'll deserve every bit of it, because he's a dirtbag who never appreciated what he had.
