We've seen the threads about Lee Evans. We've seen how awful he's been and how disappointing he's been compared to his draft position. Well, Reggie Brown wasn't ranked that far below Evans and has also completely failed to make any impact whatsoever. Granted, McNabb and the Eagles have really done nothing with the exception of Kevin Curtis's explosion in week 3, but is Brown going to be worthless all year (and beyond)?
Of all those "middle tier" WR's like Brown, Burress, Coles, Cotchery, Holmes, etc., Brown has definitely been the most disappointing of the bunch. Granted, DJax hasn't been far off, but Brown was going near the top of this group of WR's before the season started and there was talk that 1000 yds and 8-9 TDs was almost a lock. Now, 8 catches for 81 yds in 4 games later, this guy has been dropped in almost every league I'm in.
Complete flash in the pan last year or just a horrific start? Problem with Brown or McNabb or Eagle's playcalling? This guy could be had for pennies right now (even cheaper than Evans since he didn't have all the hype) and seems he could be a nice guy to buy really really low right now. Thoughts?
