Just curious as to which is more important to you.

Of course if you win a championship you are likely to get cash, but what's the motivation behind winning it all?

I think the trophy or title is more important myself. As tough as it is to win in some leagues having that reward for your efforts that lasts longer than the cash does is way better in my opinion.

Depends which league. In one league the year of razzing my friends is worth way more than the money.

collecting cash is nice, and required if you play in a bunch of leagues, like some of us do

but I'm sitting here looking at a trophy I plucked from a guy that has his name on in 2000, '02, '03 and '04....cat was going for a 4-BAGGER and 5 of last 6 years, but 'I sicked 'ole Larry Johnson on his ### and rolled thru the playoffs last yr and took home the hardware...and it was SWEET!

There are a lot easier and smarter ways to make money than playing FF.

Show Me the MONEY!

You can gauge your success by whether you lost, broke even, or came out ahead.

I prefer no trophies, no $5 prizes for best record, etc., no payouts to losers, winner take all contest.

All coaches in for say, $500.

Now's that competition & there are very few true competitors that will enter this realm. All the better!

Right amount of $$$$ > Imaginary title amongst your friends.

It just depends person to person what that amount is.

Let me just put it this way, if the other team in the championship game offerd me the 2k for our league championship so that he could "win" the title, i'd give it to him in a heart beat.

Then again, i'm no pro athlete or internet millionaire. That's chump change to those guys.

That being said I hope I win the championship at least once. I've fallen short the last 2 years with some of my best teams. So maybe with my crappy team this year I can pull off the upset. Not bloody likely tho.
