Always been a folder, but never in a million years would I ever think to put them in a drawer. Even though I have shelf space above the rack in my closet, mine live (post divorce habits are hard to break) on a shelf on a clothing rack in the basement next to the washer.

I imagine its like having a wine cellar, except for jeans.

I hang almost everything, including casual tees and sweatshirts. Sweaters, shorts, sweat pants, and underwear/socks are about the only thing I fold.

Also (this is clearly not normal), I don't own a pair of blue jeans. I have not owned a pair since the mid-to-early 80s. I have several pairs of black jeans now, which I started wearing around 2016. If you're scoring at home, that's 30+ years with no jeans, coming up on 40 years no blue jeans.

Happy No Pants Day y’all!

National No Pants Day is on the first Friday in May, on May 5 this year, and we know just how freeing it can be to change out of your pants after a long day. Can you believe that the oldest pair of pants ever discovered by archeologists are wool ones in western China that date back more than 3,000 years ago? While these pants were typically worn during horseback riding, over the years, pants have changed in purpose and material. From equestrian to labor and fashion purposes, to wool and denim materials, distressed jeans are in fashion, and every person has more than one pair.

The first instance of National No Pants Day is said to have started in Austin, Texas, during the 1980s. A club at the University of Texas named the Knighthood of Buh wanted to celebrate freedom from conforming to society and the end of the semester. After finishing their finals, they pulled their pants down and walked around in their undergarments. Although this began as a college prank, this tradition continued until 2000 when states throughout the United States and in other countries such as Canada, Britain, and Australia, started catching onto this day and wanted to participate in it as well.

Another story of how this day first started was about a man in the 1980s who asked his wife if she could iron his work pants for an important meeting. While he was concerned about being late to work, too much time had already passed, and he rushed out the door, forgetting to put his pants back on. When he finally realized he was pantless, he was already on the subway. Since there wasn’t anything he could do about it, he pretended as if nothing was out of the ordinary and feigned a smile.

Thanks Cliffie!

but seriously... some of you actually hang your jeans? afraid they're going to wrinkle? that denim is pretty sensitive and delicate.
This was my first thought. "WHAT KIND OF FREAK HANGS THEIR JEANS??? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM???" Then @AAABatteries said "I have more closet space" and I thought. "Oh. yeah. I guess that makes sense. Not freaks."
Yeah I hang my jeans (which I don't wear anymore) simply because of the closet space versus drawer space that I have.

I fold mine, place them in a brown paper bag, then gently place them in the freezer not touching any food items. Just the way @offdee taught me many years ago.

"My" closet is overrun by my wife's clothes (90% of which she hardly ever wears) and my freezer is overrun by various frozen foods my wife buys (90% of which she will never eat).
So yeah, folded on top of my dresser or in a dresser drawer.

Folded in a drawer I guess, but I basically just wear 1 pair which I just throw on the floor and wear again the next day for like 2 weeks, then wash and repeat

I do have 1 black pair i mix in occasionally and a couple others that I hardly wear because I prefer the ones that are like 99% cotton 1% elastic better but the 100% cotton ones are still in good condition (well some of them I probably have 1 pair that’s pretty beat that I would use if I was doing home improvement or painting or something)

How many pairs of jeans do you guys own? I usually try to keep 3 in the rotation. Fold and place up top in my closet instead of my dresser.
One or two, not sure. I haven’t worn them in over a decade.

Thinking about taking a plunge back into the jean pool though. Probably get a new pair, which I will fold.

Hung in the closet.
However, I'll usually wear one pair (not sure why we say pair but it sounds weird otherwise) multiple days. For that one, I drape it over one of those racks that holds a set of folding tables that I've repurposed as a small garment rack.

Folded on shelves in the closet. There is no dresser.
Hmmm, MoP is thinking about the extra space this would open up
Have a walk in with a lot of shelves but wife has it filled with shoes like Imelda Marcos
She's going on a trip to see her mother, think I'm going to do some redecorating

I don't own any jeans. I only own slacks.

Currently at zero.

Golf pants>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>jeans

Meh, maybe for you. Golf pants is just a better name for "Dockers". No thanks. Plus I don't  play golf. Colder weather climate, jeans are far better.
Dockers? No way. I own like 8 pairs of the pants in the link below. So much more comfortable than jeans or dockers.

I don't own jeans either. I wear similar to what you posted. so much more comfortable and versatile than jeans.

https://liverpoolstyle.com/products/copy-of-regent-relaxed-straight-chino-twill <--- currently wearing a pair of these. Super comfy.
