(When) Do you wet your toothbrush before brushing? #WhatsNormal #Normal #ToothBrush
Before and after. No idea why, or where I learned it. Just habit at this point.
At least the dry brusher weirdos haven't weighed in yet...Before and after. No idea why, or where I learned it. Just habit at this point.
Without looking, I would've figured this would be the least common because I don't understand the point of doing it 2x - but apparently I was very wrong.
TWSSI believe dentists recommend not using water as you want the bristles stiff.

I do after because I want to "loosen" the paste.... I feel like if I don't wet it - it kind of ends up one big glob on the toothI do it before the paste goes on so that I don't knock the paste off with water after the paste is put on. I have good water pressure.
I don’t know why I do it either but I do. I think I do the before so the brush head is wet (use Sonicare) and then after to make sure the toothpaste is on well. I hate when the toothpaste falls off and while I probably could control it more if I tried, sometimes you are tired or just slip a little. The slipping is probably from too much water! Before and after. No idea why, or where I learned it. Just habit at this point.

Well look at you Mr Big Bucks.I do it before the paste goes on so that I don't knock the paste off with water after the paste is put on. I have good water pressure.
This. Pre toothpaste and post brush.I voted before & after but I really meant before adding toothpaste and the after I'm done brushing.
So wait... are you insinuating that there are people out there who don't rinse their toothbrush AFTER brushing??This. Pre toothpaste and post brush.I voted before & after but I really meant before adding toothpaste and the after I'm done brushing.

Always before Toothbrush sits in the open all day after brushing, so quick wet down to wash off anything that may have settled on it.Before and after. No idea why, or where I learned it. Just habit at this point.
Because it's the right way.Saw this asked on Twitter a few months ago. I was convinced it was before. But then I realized I've always done before and after. And I have no explanation for why.
