I’m a psychopath as I think I’ve done all 4 at different times. I think my most common is to wet after the toothpaste is on but seriously don’t know.

I do after because I want to "loosen" the paste.... I feel like if I don't wet it - it kind of ends up one big glob on the tooth

before because i don't know what happened to the brush since i last used it. a quick hot rinse to "disinfect", then apply the toothpaste and a cold wash of the paste before putting anything on my teeth.

I don’t know why I do it either but I do. I think I do the before so the brush head is wet (use Sonicare) and then after to make sure the toothpaste is on well. I hate when the toothpaste falls off and while I probably could control it more if I tried, sometimes you are tired or just slip a little. The slipping is probably from too much water!

I don't wet it at all until rinsing after brushing. I keep my toothbrush and toothpaste in the bedroom and start brushing there before rinsing. I do not want my toothbrush lingering in the bathroom and getting particles on it from other bathroom activities.
