Before and after. No idea why, or where I learned it. Just habit at this point.

Without looking, I would've figured this would be the least common because I don't understand the point of doing it 2x - but apparently I was very wrong.

After. Before seems wasteful and redundant (Unnecessary) in fact, people who wet before toothpaste are directly contributing to more wasted time with each letter I type.

I seriously had to stop and think hard about how I do it, because it's just so ingrained it's a reflex at this point. Wet the brush, then the toothpaste on.

I’m a psychopath as I think I’ve done all 4 at different times. I think my most common is to wet after the toothpaste is on but seriously don’t know.

I do it before the paste goes on so that I don't knock the paste off with water after the paste is put on. I have good water pressure.

before and after

before because i don't know what happened to the brush since i last used it. a quick hot rinse to "disinfect", then apply the toothpaste and a cold wash of the paste before putting anything on my teeth.

I don’t know why I do it either but I do. I think I do the before so the brush head is wet (use Sonicare) and then after to make sure the toothpaste is on well. I hate when the toothpaste falls off and while I probably could control it more if I tried, sometimes you are tired or just slip a little. The slipping is probably from too much water! :-)

I don't wet it at all until rinsing after brushing. I keep my toothbrush and toothpaste in the bedroom and start brushing there before rinsing. I do not want my toothbrush lingering in the bathroom and getting particles on it from other bathroom activities.

Before, and sometimes after the paste is on. Usually just before. I don't know why I go back and forth.

I voted before & after but I really meant before adding toothpaste and the after I'm done brushing.

This. Pre toothpaste and post brush.
So wait... are you insinuating that there are people out there who don't rinse their toothbrush AFTER brushing?? :brush:

🤷 I only voted before.
But, if my sons were any indication, yes there are cretins out there who don’t rinse afterwards.
