What's the play here calling out an owner/when (1 Viewer)

6 teams make playoffs 2 get byes.

Last year one brother out of it dropped Dalton for his brother trying to make playoffs had number one claim. Owner who dropped Dalton had no better option. Nothing crazy here but rose my interest.

This year same two teams but opposite roles. 8-4 brother can clinch a bye with a win. Other

brother can't make playoffs has AJ Green benched for Streater at WR. Housler at flex. They play eachother

Still early but Streater plays today. If AJ Green

doesn't make his lineup and the excuse of he was on bye last week I forgot comes when can you call them out if any?

I would put out a post today saying "Planning on playing Streater over AJ Green vs. your brother, huh?". I wouldn't wait until after the "forgot I benched him on the bye" excuse. If he does in fact bench AJ Green, kick him out of the league.

I'd call out now to make sure it doesn't happen. [Whether it's intended or not]

I'd either replace them after season or leave league if you don't feel comfortable with them. Just my opinion, dumping Dalton isn't a real head scratching move. unless the guy went QB-less as a result.

Im not the commish a third brother is. The Dalton move wasn't as bad but it was during his hot streak and the brother who needed Dalton had no other option.

More concerned about if AJGreen is benched for Housler at flex or Streater at WR2 I think I'll say something after the game starts. Housler over Green it is Thanksgiving

Brother 1 is commish the two involved are brothers 2-3 he shouldn't take a side. I'm more likely to get a it's their own roster not my job to manage the rosters.

Oh. That changes things. I'm assuming you know these guys in person and this isn't strictly an internet league?

Doesn't seem to be an easy solution since any calling out on the message board will still keep these two lousy brothers in the league and pulling shady maneuvers.

Exactly. It's a league of six or so family members then friends of friends. Weird situation. Tough to prove but it's a keeper league with loopholes. Toliet Bowl winner gets money however that bracket starts next week so the guy with Green benched doesn't matter much

Now watch Streater outscore Green.
The outcome is far less important than the intent. Nobody trying to win makes that decision.End it now. No need to kick anyone out, but even a good stern post from a non commish can do wonders for this crap.

Maybe nominate a proposal in the offseason where the league votes on rotating commissioners? Having a third brother as commissioner is helping to ruin this league with two untrustworthy brothers. Maybe you can get a big faction of support and overwhelm the three brothers (who would never want the commissioner-ship leaving the family).

Do you know the family? Or you a part of the family?

Friends with the commish. Know the brothers through them, Not friends with them, but they are still family when all said and done to commish.

Uphill battle with all those family members in the league. I'd quit next season. Impossible to enjoy FF when you're constantly wondering if collusion is going on.

Eh, tough decision if the brother(s) are commish. Odds are good he'll get very defensive.
There is no way to justify benching AJ Green, especially playing against San Diego. He can get as defensive as he wants, but everybody knows a skunk when they smell it.
I agree. Tough decision whether to bring it up (considering the brothers & family run the league). I personally would still bring it up. I wouldn't return to the league either way having to constantly worry about collusion going on.

This is my view for sure. If you can't remove all of the brothers, then I would certainly quit the league if it were me...which it is not. This type of thing completely saps my enjoyment.

Why don't you tell everyone about the league you were the commish of, that had your brother in it, and there was proof that you were recruiting owners by offering them discounts if they traded you their good players? You know, the league where we found out you had more than 1 team. Tell them that one.

Be part of the solution. I would ignore the fact they are brothers. I would also forget about last year. I would call the commish and let him onto it suggesting this owner has forgotten to put in Green, then I might actually call the owner with Green on the bench. If you dont get any positive results, quit.

 Do tell.

Judging by the OP's grammar skills, I am guessing he's not the sharpest tool in the shed.

But just how big of a buffoon is he?

He's a crook. I joined his league, and noticed that most of the teams would only trade with him. A couple of other guys noticed the same thing. We suspected he owned more than one team, but had no real proof. I had the audacity to ask that we consider moving to MFL to save money, and was thrown out of the league. The owners that were actually real people, protested, but I was glad to get out. What followed was that a couple of other people left, and were replaced rather quickly. One of the new guys posted that he was promised a discount if he made a lopsided trade with this turd of a commish. He showed the other guys the emails that were exchanged proving his claim. That broke the league up, as every real person in the league were now certain this guy was a crook. The beauty of it was that with all his cheating, he still couldn't win the league, and I formed a couple of leagues with former members.

And now he's complaining about cheating?? I suppose what goes around, comes around.

So how'd this work out??

Sounds like a super casual league. I wouldn't be in it, but if it doesn't bother you, whatever.

Funny, I play in a league with two brothers, and these two would go out of their way to screw each other over fantasy-wise. They are from Philly, so maybe it's different with nicer people.

Yeah I was in a league with two of my cousins who were brothers and they were super competitive. No way they would collude with each other. One cousin was commish though and did some shady stuff and I did end up quitting because of it.

This is the best post, I am in the same spot. I quit a league like 4 years ago because of things like this, people not setting correct lineups, people making shady trades. This year I rejoined the league because someone dropped out last minute. I wish I hadn't, and now I am in the spot again. If I win this week I get the bye and win money regardless, the 3rd place team wins and they get the number 2 seed and bye. The number 3 seed is playing a good buddy of his that is out of the playoffs. This good buddy started Demarco Murray in his flex spot and Quizz Rodgers as his rb, he also started Burelson, and Pettigrew. He left Kendall Wright, Charles Clay and Riley Cooper on his bench.

Sorry to hijack into my sob story but the point of it is just quit and cut your loses. These type of leagues take the fun out of fantasy football, even when you are doing well.

agreed.. a million leagues out there, better to find a quality run league, might not be 100% payout but close enough.
