When does Aaron Rodgers become a value pick? (1 Viewer)

My league is 10 team, 1qb/2rb/2wr/1te with standard scoring but I think this is a good discussion point for leagues of all sizes and scoring systems.

Every year, the "shark" move has been to wait on QB. Still, Rodger's ADP places him somewhere near the end of the first round. If your league mates are waiting on QB and Rodgers continues to slide, at what point does drafting him become sound strategy?

For value purposes:For me personally, 4th round (in 10 teamer, 3rd round in 12th). For most, I'd say mid to late 2nd round. For sound strategy purposes:I'd say mid to late 2nd, depending on who else is out there. I see 5 other QB's out there that have a reasonable (if not good) shot of outproducing Rodgers this year (Manning, Brees, Schaub, Brady and Romo).

I'd take him around pick 20. When it comes to the point where Jennings is the next best receiver or the next best running back is Charles. It's pretty simple, figure out what point you know longer are excited enough about the prospects at RB or WR to justify taking the top 1 or 2 QB.

I'd say anything after pick #15 would represent good value for Rodgers. I'm pretty sure he ends up being the #1 or #2 QB in the league this year.

I am not a big fan of taking a QB in the first or second round; the earliest I would consider him would be third round.
