Where did Shaun Alexander go in your drafts so far?

(Multiple choice so you can pick multiple spots for multiple leagues)

Also since you can have up to 4 questions in a poll, threw in two more concerning your rankings.

Some yahoo reached for him at 1.2 in a no-ppr redraft league last night. I gladly took S-Jax at 1.3.
what is so crazy about that - even Draft Dominator has them within a 100yds of each other and Alexander scoring more TDs on the ground... maybe he didn't buy into the "have to take SJ #2 hype this year"... but not a real reach...

Those of us who haven't had a draft yet can't see the results without voting. Rather than supplying a false number, could someone post the results in a reply? TIA.

I had 3rd pick in 10 team league with no ppr.

After LT and SJax, I pick SA. I think he will have good year. 1600 with 15 TD which is good for me compare to LJ (No QB and OL is bad compare to last 2 years), Gore (Same level as SA, but choose SA).

Is it my imagination or is Alexander moving up in ADP?
Nope... he's building up steam. With the poor Offensive play this pre-season by KC and Gore Breaking his hand a couple of weeks ago, I think most drafters in those top draft positions are turning their attenation SA.

I have to admit I had pretty much written him off thinking he'd go higher than I would take him.

How's his health, how's he looked in preseason & camp and what's the latest on him?

reports from camp and from Holmgren himself, are that Alexander looks lighter and quicker this year than last. The big question mark with Alexander is not his health but the health of his offensive line. They were devestated by injuries last year and had no continuity at all. This year they will start the season a little banged up but should be a pretty solid / underrated group (IMO) with Jones, Locklear, Gray, Sims and Spencer. Spencer will be the key - he is plenty athletic but struggled to learn the line calls filling in for an injured Robbie Tobek last year. Seattle has a pretty easy schedule this year so if the line can stay healthy I think they will perform well enought to get Alexander back to 1600 yards 16-18 TDs.

I have the fourth pick in my upcoming non-PPR draft and will happily take him should he be there. I have him ranked 3rd behind LT and SJ.

Null vote works for this.

SA is the antithesis of Reggie Bush.

Non-PPR redraft....Alexander >>>>>>> Bush

PPR dynasty/keeper.......Bush >>>>>>>> Alexander

Drafted last night. 12 team no ppr, 6 pt PaTD, I got him at 1.10 (and THenry at 2.03). First round went:

LT

SJax

Addai

LJ

Westbrook

PManning

Gore

Parker

Bush

SAlex

RJohnson

Maroney

$$ 12 Team Redraft league

I'll be starting 3 of these 4 with 3 WRs

1.07 SA

2.06 Portis

4.06 Duece

6.06 JJ

Thats value

I took SA w/ pick 1.07 in a 12 team redraft league, .5 PPR. Addai went right before me at 1.06, & I would've preferred him.

Just drafted last night and SA went @ 1.07; after LT, SJAX, LJ, ADDAI, FWP, GORE. I think that the biggest concern was that no one could seem to find anything definitive on the condition of his foot.

Seattle hasn't exactly been lighting it up this preseason either...
I would say Seattle's first team has done as well as any team in the league. Hell without Walter Jones, Alexander had 30 yards and a TD on 8 carries.

Wow. As I said before, I took him at 1.04 on Sunday. My other league drafts tomorrow and I pick seventh. Would LOVE to get him there.

Auction league with 4 divisions of 10, $375 cap and 22 positions...

Alexander, Shaun RB SEA $120

Alexander, Shaun RB SEA $98

Alexander, Shaun RB SEA $89

Alexander, Shaun RB SEA $70

That would equate to about a . . .

01.04

01.06

01.09

02.05

So, ya, all over the place.

I actually picked eigth in this league. And I still got him!!! :goodposting: Someone actually took Rudi ahead of SA. This is madness.

3.75 yards per carry? That's alright, but not awesome. I'd be more concerned about this however:
SEATTLE (Ticker) - The Seahawks Seahawks suffered a pair of potentially costly injuries in their 19-14 victory over the Oakland Raiders in the preseason finale on Thursday night.

Defensive tackle Marcus Tubbs hurt his right knee in the first quarter and did not return.

Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren termed the injury a "significant" one, calling it "really unfortunate."
http://www.sbrforum.com/Headlines/NFL/51339.aspxThis injury has me a bit worried as far a Alexanders stats go. If Seattle can't stop the run, there will be fewer offensive series for the Hawks...

Anyone else believe this should knock Alexanders value a bit?

To measure Tubbs impact:

Perhaps the best news on the defensive front is that Marcus Tubbs is back. And, true to form, he had an impact. While he contributed little to the pass-rush - despite being a very acceptable pass-rusher for the role he occupies - he was able to man-up against double teams from two perennial pro-bowlers: C Matt Birk and LG Steve Hutchison.

But it’s not just the Seahawks’ pass defense that needed mending. Opponents averaged 126.8 yards rushing and 203.5 yards passing against Seattle. Seattle’s ability to stop the run improved just with the return of Marcus Tubbs, who at 318 pounds is the Seahawks’ biggest gap-plugger.

"We need to have them be good," Holmgren said. "Last year people had us a little bit on the running game. A part of that was holding up inside."

Defensive tackle Marcus Tubbs is recovering from microfracture knee surgery but is expected to play. His presence, Holmgren said, makes the defensive line potentially formidable.

"I feel good about all those guys when Tubby's there," Holmgren said.

I'm in a 14 team league, no ppr, and was thrilled to get SA at 1.09 last night.

Thank God some doofs drafted T. Brady and Rudi ahead of SA.

took him at 2.6, after grabbing FWP 1.5 in Non PPR league. Good times :banned:
In my 12 team redraft non-ppr I reached for Travis Henry at 1.11, but to my delight, I snagged SA at 2.02! :goodposting:
Nice :fishy: league
I'm not denying that! :lmao:
Me neither, my league is start 2 QBs, so QB1-6 were gone by the mid 2nd round. Also, I think most in my league really didn't know what his foot status was. :lmao:
