Some other really late '80s/early 90s bands that the labels at least tried to shove as crossover into the hair metal section but didn't quite make it on account of being bands that were just too good. Life, Sex, and Death probably don't belong here, but they didn't know how to market this band on a major in 1992. The king of them all, Vain, and their title track to their first, is at the bottom.
(Cinderella was indeed one of the best of the hair metal bands, by far. Night Sounds was the ninth grade soundtrack on a driving trip from CT to FLA once, and it fit the bill)
