Oh yeah, good point. If people submit it, I will still post all the info along with the picks. I'd love to get that from everyone, but I just don't want to be vetting and/or hassling people for it.

I have read post 1 and it seems to me that the vetting process is easier for this one.

If it's a solo artist not born in (or somehow from) the US or UK, they're eligible. If it's a band in which at least one of the core members was not born in (or somehow from) the US or UK, they're eligible. Is that accurate?

More or less, but there are some bands that were partially ineligible previously, so they will be only partially eligible here.

I'm auditioning finalists for my list tonight, and I've realized my list is probably going to be pretty boring. I listen to a lot of music from other parts of the world, but when it comes down to my tippy-top favorites, they mostly aren't very obscure. Thank god for the rest of you.

This excercise has really reinforced that I listen to mostly American/ British isles music.....throw in the odd Nordic, German, eastern European. I'd imagine I'm not alone in this trend.

I'm not sure who that ur talking to, but when I said earlier that I was gonna submit 31 Peruvian pan flute songs, I was kidding.....not only was I kidding, but I'm like the least "world music" kinda guy of all time maybe....??

I do have one song that is predominating pan flute, but not peruvian. Its pretty good actually

Ive just found my artist from Thailand. Well not really, my South Korea research yielded a thai loophole.
This artist has at least 5 songs well over 1 billion views. The one im choosing only has 810 million
