Any idea if he signed somewhere as DC after getting passed over for the HC job he deserved?

Mark Gaughan, of the Buffalo News, reports the Buffalo Bills have offered their defensive coordinator job to Jim Bates, former defensive coordinator of the Green Bay Packers. The Bills were waiting to hear if Bates would accept the job.

Actually he did have a number of offers, but his asking price was too high.Hes certainly amongst the top D coordinators in the NFL.
