Where Should I take my free vacation? (1 Viewer)

Long story short - I won a free vacation through a travel service...they are paying for round trip flight and hotels (not all inclusive) for 3 nights, 4 days. I have the option of going to the following places:

- San Juan, Puerto Rico

- Cancun, Mexico

- Montego Bay, Jamaica

Relevant Information:

- Taking my buddy

- 2 single guys

- 28 years old

- like to party - but not overly clubby.

Never been out of the United States, so feed me all I need to know

Do they tell you which hotels it would be in each place? If you don't know, I'd scratch Jamaica right off. Cancun and PR you're pretty likely to be well traveled areas and if you don't like your hotel, you can go to another one nearby. You might not be able to do that in Jamaica.

Other side of the coin is that Cancun and PR are both easily visited fairly cheaply on your own, and you can get there for a long weekend. Jamaica is a bit harder, more expensive, and you'd want to spend more time there. So if you've always wanted to check out Jamaica, you can use this as an opportunity.

Best bet is Cancun because the quantity of women will be much higher.

IF you fully determine this is 100% legit, I would choose San Juan. Not as touristy, still a part of the U.S., and with all of the tropical features.

If you know more details I'd go Jamaica. Otherwise it's up to you. San Juan has a far more diverse set of choices - clubs, bars, great restaurants, high end, local etc.

I'm not a cancun fan myself - really all touristy and fake. But, as noted, prob the better option to pick up chicks.

Long story short - a more robust and varied experience it's San Juan, easy (plus can day trip to falls, rain forest etc). For more of a Vegas pool scene and dumb American debauchery (less class but hella fun) Cancun
