Where's the love for Chester Taylor? (1 Viewer)

I really think he could suprise some people this year. He's got an awesome line to run behind, the best fullback in football and a weak schedule. Yet it seems people are avoiding him? Brad Childress loves to involve his RB's and I know this is his first crack at starting, but I think he's got the potential to be a top ten back. Anyone else drinking the Chester Taylor Kool-Aide?

I have him, but I haven't taken the wrapper off the straw just yet. Around week 5 or 6, after he is used to the O line, I will be punch drunk of sipping the juice.

:goodposting: I couldnt agree more. Of course as a dynasty owner, I need to hope for the best case scenario. I am getting some buy low offers from some owners but I think I will hold on as I truly see his value increasing.

Expect his value to go down before it goes up. The Vikings open the season with Was, Car, and Chi. Between the new offense, O-line men meshing, and that schedule I expect it to be an ugly start. If you can buy him during that stretch, the Vikings end with Det, Jets, GB.

I still think Chester is good value at the overall 30-35 pick range. Better than JJones, Gore or Jamal at RB2. Give him some time to gel with the new offense. He has not impressed in the preseason but how many times have we judged either way in pre-season and been wrong? Chester owners will have to be patient for the reward.
