Which backup rookie RB are you most excited about? (1 Viewer)

Nice work, bostonfred!  I added my comments in red.

Henry has legitimate hall of fame talent.  He could be a better version of eddie george. He can catch the ball like a tight end, has the size and power to plow over people, cut back surprisingly well for his size, and has breakaway speed for a guy his size.  Hes getting the lesser half of the carries in a split with murray for now but that vould easily change.  Has value even if it doesn't.  I think "hall of fame talent" may be quite a stretch, although I think Henry could be a decent back.  In redrafts, his value is limited with Murray gobbling up a lot of work, but in dynasty leagues, I am all in on Henry.  I am looking forward to seeing Henry this preseason, especially if he gets early work against defensive number ones.
I stand by it.  Everyone raves about elliott but i think henry is a generational talent and he started to show it tonight.

Starting to see Henry's ADP spike in 12-team redraft mocks this weekend. For the time being you can nab Booker, Dixon, Howard, Perkins & Washington in the low to mid teen rounds. Free lottery tickets for the Thanksgiving to Christmas stretch drive.

Prosise has nice size, speed and receiving ability but was a college wr who converted to rb.  He will likely have a role early but might have a clearer path to third down back or maybe a gio role than a true stud rb
Subtle correction: Prosise was a safety who converted to WR who converted to RB out of necessity.

He was shockingly effective coming from 3rd string to starter due to transfers and injuries. He should absolutely be viewed as a passing threat/third down back much more than a true runner. He most resembles former ND RB Theo Riddick in terms of style of play.

Didn't see it but Twitter seems impressed with Deandre Washington
He definitely passed the eye test IMO. I know it's just the preseason but he doesn't look like he's going to have any trouble adjusting to NFL game speed. Given the fact that Murray isn't super durable with his upright running style/hasn't truly proven himself yet and that the OAK OL is going to be tops this year and I think Washington will make for a good late round lottery ticket.

I'm fading Prosise, mostly based on the fact that Seattle has never made much use of its third-down back. Remember when people thought FJax was a sneaky sleeper last year? Even after Lynch and Rawls got hurt, he never got much usage.

I'd love to hear more.
Redskins UDFA RB Rob Kelley has begun cutting into Keith Marshall's reps with the second-team offense.

The Redskins weren't thrilled with Marshall's impatience behind the line of scrimmage in the preseason opener, a trait he's also exhibited on the practice field. Albeit against Atlanta's deep reserves, Kelley shined with 40 yards on seven carries and two catches for 13 yards. Kelley stands 5-foot-11, 226 and ran a 4.68 forty at Tulane's Pro Day. He is a Matt Asiata-caliber athlete.

Thanks. Amazing this guy is on a roster. His college stats are maybe the worst I have ever seen.

I'll throw an Alex Collins dart out there. I'm pretty weary of Rawls at this point, don't believe in Procise being a Seattle workhorse, and the latest Cmike mirage will wear off soon.

Hell, the dude runs and even looks like Marshawn. Grabbed him in a dynasty and might he take a last round stab at him in a redraft.

Roto

KJR Seattle's Curtis Crabtree believes third-rounder C.J. Prosise's health -- or lack thereof -- has put him in danger of falling out of the Seahawks' backfield rotation.

In a roster breakdown, Crabtree listed Prosise as on the "bubble," but it doesn't seem to be as grave as that. Prosise simply hasn't been able to stay healthy since he was picked 90th overall in April, battling a hip flexor in the spring and now missing two weeks with a hamstring injury. Prosise returned to practice the past two days, but he again required an ice pack on the hammy Tuesday. Christine Michael and Alex Collins have passed Prosise on the depth chart. I like Dixon the best from the college film I watched.   He also has a good chance of becoming the main guy in Baltimore.

Dwayne Washington (Detroit)

keep an eye on him
whiffed on a punt return block last night

he's in a fight for a roster spot, hoping they keep him over Ridley

I suspect they'll keep the veteran because they want him as a GL back

Personally I'd like it to be AA, Theo, ZZ, Washington & Burton (FB)

Winn is below average, Ridley is a shell of what he was 4 years ago

Stashing BRANDON WILDS on my dynasty roster. I like what I saw last night.
I have not yet watched the game.  Aside from his 32-yard scamper to pay dirt, how did Wilds look?  The opportunity is there to earn a roster spot behind Freeman and Coleman, although fantasy relevance seems unlikely.
