Personally I like the Titans. They have a pretty easy schedule after the bye. They looked great against the Saints (but who hasn't).Houston is young and improved, but I think they are still a year or so away from becoming a possible force.Your opinions??
I'm with you on both teams- I picked up the Titans before the INDY game because I figured they would play tough and get some attention from other league members, especially given their schedule after the BYE.
I've got the Titans targeted as my defense du jour after their bye week.
I'm really hoping they'll pass waivers, but I doubt it since most of my league members are Titan homers. For what it's worth, I think the BUCS v.s a Carr led Panthers team is a nice spot start this week.
Hard to say, but one thing I do know is that good NFL defense doesn't always translate to good fantasy defense. A good example of this over the years was Carolina and Jacksonville.

I really like the Titans. Was *this* close to picking them up last week and dropping Miami. Of course, after a primetime waxing of the Saints, it was too late, they went early in waivers.
I think they are a good mix of stingy yards/points and turnovers. Plus, they already have the Indy game out of the way.
I'd feel good if I was pairing them with another solid D.
Titans stats/schedule are very favorable. They are not high profile, are they good or just playing well right now?? Are they playing above their talent level?? Can they sustain???
for the most part, i think both are for real. ("for real" meaning, top 12 with an outside shot at top 6 for the season)
last year the world forgot the possiblity that the houston texans had a nice draft grabbing young defensive contributors. that mario williams pick just keeps looking better and better.
the titans look good too. i wouldn't want albert haynesworth babysitting my kids, but he is a beast. i've watched alot of the titans this year and haynesworth has dominated the interior.
I picked them both up on waivers and dropped the Panthers.Their remaining schedule's combine very nicely to form a pretty good, and very cheap, DBC.Check it out:Texans vs FalconsTitans vs Falcons (or Texans vs Dolphins)Titans vs Bucs (or Texans vs Jags)Titans vs Texans (or vice versa obviously)Titans vs RaidersTexans vs RaidersTitans vs JagsTexans vs SaintsTexans vs BrownsTexans vs Titans (or vice versa again)Texans vs BucsTitans vs ChiefsTitans vs Jets
I think the Titans have a better D than the Texans right now. I like the Titans D Line better than the Texans (for this year, anyway), and I think they have better safeties. Plus, the way the Titans run their offense is very well-suited to help their defense (lots of running, meaning fewer possessions for each team, meaning less scoring).
