Mods, please move this to The Baseball Forum.

It's a false promise. Baseball / the Month of April is spring.

So I expect some nice warm weather. But it's never like that. April sucks. It's cold 50's with colder nights, some few teasing warms days but mostly chilly with interspersed rain.

Then May comes and I'm like FINALLY - but it's not until mid may that spring REALLY feels like it's hit, and by then it's nearly memorial day.

A Tradition unlike any other... the Masters.
Gonna be a little sad knowing the Eisenhower tree went down from the ice this year. I understand the trees on the course got quite a beating. Shipped in expert tree trimmers from all around the country. Interested to see how much it altered the course.

I read that. Almost surprised they didn't figure out how to haul in a 100 year old loblolly pine to replace it. Guess that would have been a little bigger than the Lon Hinkle tree at Inverness.

When women start wearing short skirts, short shorts, tank tops, sun dresses, bikini tops, flip flops, that is the sure sign that spring is here and good times are just around the corner. Any other answer is ignoring the obivious and lying to oneself. Which btw is not good.

Today I discovered another sign that Spring has arrived. I found a snake on my side porch :o . I don't know what kind it was because I jumped and screamed like a little girl. I saw some black, brown and white. It slithered away under my porch. I hate snakes of any kind.

Saw an interesting one today here in DC...

A toddler boy in a wagon without a shirt. (It was almost 70 today)
Didn't say it was good. Just that it was interesting!
did you stay the required 300 feet away?
how long did you watch?
They were across the street, saw them for a second or two as they turned and headed up a different street.
