Well in Arizona we don't do daylight savings time, and we have spring training baseball, so it's a no-brainer for me.i gotta go with daylight savings time. that extra hour of sunshine really rings in the change of seasons for me.

It's a false promise. Baseball / the Month of April is spring.
So I expect some nice warm weather. But it's never like that. April sucks. It's cold 50's with colder nights, some few teasing warms days but mostly chilly with interspersed rain.
Then May comes and I'm like FINALLY - but it's not until mid may that spring REALLY feels like it's hit, and by then it's nearly memorial day.

Gonna be a little sad knowing the Eisenhower tree went down from the ice this year. I understand the trees on the course got quite a beating. Shipped in expert tree trimmers from all around the country. Interested to see how much it altered the course.

I read that. Almost surprised they didn't figure out how to haul in a 100 year old loblolly pine to replace it. Guess that would have been a little bigger than the Lon Hinkle tree at Inverness.

Today I discovered another sign that Spring has arrived. I found a snake on my side porch 
. I don't know what kind it was because I jumped and screamed like a little girl. I saw some black, brown and white. It slithered away under my porch. I hate snakes of any kind.
