I thought Suh leaving a Detroit team with more talent for just a couple mill less was a little dumb unless he really hated that city. Reports I read was he wanted top $ and to be highest paid D player, didnt Detroit offer him that and he still hauled out? lol... Miami is also put in a very bad position now cap wise for the foreseeable future.

Terrance Knighton, who apparently decided to show up for free agent visits in terrible shape, and overestimated his worth. Had to settle for a one year deal less than the one Henry Melton got coming off an injury last year. And in Washington, to boot.
Julius Thomas going to a place with a lot of inexpensive youth, meaning he'll probably be able to receive most of his contract, was not a bad move, unless it was for fantasy teams of people he doesn't know. If he had re-signed in Denver, he might have been part of the purge after Manning leaves next year.

Washington had a secret weapon--his best friend is another of our DL, they've been best friends since childhood. Plus, we just rebuilt out entire DL and added some DB's. And apparently players like the energy of our new DC even though I'm pretty sure he sucks. Like, really really sucks.

I agree. Even outside the weight issues, even taking into account how good he is, a 2-down DL is only worth so much.

Yep, and people don't really realize this yet. 3-4 NTs always fall in the draft, it's so tough to rationalize taking a D-lineman with no hope of a pass rush. Plus, there's less true 3-4s out there, everyone is running a hybrid.

Maybe the title of this thread should be "which player went to the worst team".
Cause not many of the guys mentioned made a bad choice if you factor in money, which is probably a major factor in their choice.
IMO, taking similar money to play for a crappy team would be a bad choice, not taking several million more.

Runaway winner to me is Julius Thomas.
Wouldn't be shocked if he struggled to be a TE1. Personally don't see him as a big upgrade on Marcedes,

Insane. Thomas cashed in, I don't think he cares if he's a "TE1."
I have no idea who made the worst decision. I won't fault players for taking the $. Ingram seems like the best choice because he didn't get a lot of $ and he stayed with a team that hasn't been using him that much. Of course, they might've told him things were going to be different now, but I still don't think he maximized his value.

From a fantasy football perspective, no one lost more value this offseason than Thomas.

That's because they aren't particularly bright.
Everyone was lined up to say how overrated he was. Overrated players need to take the most they can, when they can. JT might be the smartest FA out there.

Is there anyway Revis can win back the respect of AngryPat, a man who truly is a winner and of high character? Regrets, he surely has a few now I'm sure.
some people are mixing fantasy football into this discussion.....the question isn't what palyer made the worst decision for his fantasy stats.....
as fans we have to realize that very few players actually care about winning as much as we want them to.....if that was the case, (NE or some team) would have the best 53 players in the league and many of them would be making peanuts....

I actually give a guy like Ingram a little credit for wanting to stay put.....
Maclin went to Mizzou.....not that it really means anything....Maclin is a Reid guy.....again may not mean much....but still.....and KC isn't that bad of a team....just missed playoffs this year.....made playoffs the year before.....will be getting back a ton of injured players on defense.....etc...there are worse places to go and the WR/TD thing had some to do with Smith and awful lot to do with lack of talent at the WR position......Bowe is not real good, etc.....
