attendance is going to be a laughing stock the rest of the season. Thanks Adam and Alex!! Thanks for everything!
It already is. I went 4 times on this homestand. Only game that was close to a sell out was last Monday v the Tigers on half price night.Decent crowd for Boston on Saturday but even that was just under 34,000. They didn't top 25,000 on Monday or Tuesday with the Yankees in town.
And maybe1/3 at the game were Yankee fans.
:goodposting:
:goodposting: I will go higher ande say probably almost half yesterday were Yanks fans.Wtf just turned on the game and its already 4-0 Yanks in the 1st.

I guess Paulie getting hurt has a silver lining. Their slide into obscurity will come quicker and I can get on with football.
:goodposting: I agree. At least they aren't gonna string us along until mid-September and give us false hope. Becuase this season is ovah!

I refuse to be sucked back in.
I'm back All in!How does this team do so great on the road and get their ### kicked at home?
few things come to mind, first they look more relaxed and it starts at the top, Ozzie seems to be always yucking it up with the fans on the road, they seem to play more agressive on the road and this last reason as silly as it may sound is they don't get jeered on the road like they do at home. Hats off to yesterdays win :boxing: , to come back after Crain gave up the homer, first time I can recall them not laying down all season.

3 innings in the book and Rios has left 6 runners on.
Just another day at the office. At least Dunn wasn't in the lineup tonight to overshadow him. Also is it safe to say we should never expect big things out of Beckham? Basically solid defense, mediocre at the plate. Or maybe I have always had my expectations set way too high with him

In case folks were taking the optimistic stance with this team last night should temper any expectations with this unit. They come home to a nice crowd ready to get back to .500 AGAIN playing a very lame KC team and they promptly lose and are completely dominated AGAIN by Chen. KC can march Chen out there again tonight and this team would struggle with his 68 mile an hour pitches.

As far as Gordie is concerned, well how many times have we seen these young potential solid defensive players that cannot hit for average on the White Sox?

Get ready to be setup for more of the same- sucked in only to be dissappointed. This team has sucked since day 1 and they beat a lame Oriole and Twins team. Hip hip hooray. Back to 5 out- essentially the same place they were before their mighty run...

AJP with a fractured wrist from that HBP last week. Who knows how long he'll be out. Damn shame too, he might not be able to throw anyone out, but he had been hitting the piss out of the ball since the ASB

ok on my way to the game 0 and 4 this year when I'm there and we got Gavin going, Dunn is back and no AJ. Why am I going  , because it's just me and my girls :D , looks like 0-5.

The idea of putting Alex Rios in as a defensive replacement humors me to no end.

I'd love to get a good look at what kind of jump he got on that flare to center.

Did you catch the behind the plate view of his jump? It was laughable.
it's become almost comical watching Dunn looking so clue less at the plate. I don't ever recall anyone looking like this and still be carted out there day in and day out. Plus he is a 1st base liability , there were two playable balls down the line that he muffed thankfully both were called foul. This was by far the best they have hit all season, there were several balls smoked in the gap, had (5) three baggers, collectively had (8) all season coming into game. When Ozzie put Rios in center and moved De Aza to right was when I had enough of this nonsense. Rios might have one of the worst jumps in baseball. There comes a time where he wants to win and sit these two schmoos once and for all. Nice to see Flowers swinging a nice stick , but defensively he is no AJ and the biggest difference is how many strikes AJ gets his pitchers with his movement and demeanor. Really show yesterday with all the walks, if AJ is behind the plate can guarentee there would have been far less.

The reason Dunn is in every day is becuase Konerko is still too hurt to play 1B and has to DH. But yeah, Dunn stinks bad.
