White Sox 2011 Baseball (2 Viewers)

What a game. Sox now at a season high 13 games over .500.

Probably Danks' best performance of the year. Love seeing Ozzie letting the kid go deep in the game. It would be a #######ed shame if they could get the kid a win. His ERA is around 2.50 now and he has a 5-4 record to show for it.

And The Cuban Missle is just amazing. I can see him developing into one of the top 2Bs in the American League over the next couple of years. Clutch at the plate and has looked deserving of a Gold Glove the way he's played 2B over the last month and a half.

Won't Ramirez move to SS as soon as next year?

This team is so hot and cold, due for another cold streak here. I hope anyway. :)

Nice gut check win. Sabbathia and Contreras tommorow. I hope good Jose shows up.

Monster series coming up with Twins as hot as they have been.

Nice win! If we can do some of this on the road we can start to stretch that lead. I think it is safe to say that the Tribe is in big trouble right now.

Alexei Ramirez is impressing the hell out of me. I heard he was a free swinger, but his plate approach seems very disciplined to me. Watching him with a couple 0-2 counts these past few games and he lays off the breaking stuff in the dirt and the high cheese. He's also hit three warning-track shots and one homer in the last two games. His swing reminds me a bit of Soriano. Quentin has been awesome, but I think Alaxei could be the real prize for the Sox.

Lot's of people have been saying this over the past few weeks. Same body type and swing as Soriano.

Just got mlbtv tonight to follow my 2nd favorite team. Hopefully can celebrate/complain with you guys for rest of the year.

This has been the best stretch (since the Dodgers series) of watching games on TV that I can remember.

WOW.

Here come the A's. Fat kid has a tight back. PK coming back. Who is going down?
Uribe?
one of the worst signings of the year. granted you didnt know what you were gonna get out of sexy lexi. but come on, uribe is awful...
IIRC, he was also signed before they moved Garland for Cabrera. They had to do something at SS. There was no one on the FA market and farm system is lacking any SS talent. I'd even dare to suggest that resigning Uribe wasn't the worst case scenario.

Crede and Q going to the ASG... kind of a joke that Dye and Danks aren't in.

Meanwhile Danks solid again today through 4.

I would have voted for Longoria. Dye, with better stats than Manny (and Ichiro not having a super year by any means) should have at least been a reserve over JD Drew. No Sox pitchers kind of got screwed by all teams needing an A.S. With all of the Red Sox and Yanks, there was no room left for our guys. Hopefully they win the homefield for us, because they won't need it as T.B. kicks their tails.

Dye should take the write in vote.

It's a joke we had no guys from the bullpen selected. It's not like we have the best bullpen in the league or anything. :blackdot:

Nice to get back in the W column today.... Twins never lose.
You just watched the Indians earlier this week, you should know the answer to this.
I was speaking more in terms of the last month. Not sure they've lost more than 2 games.
WS play next 12 games agains KC and Texas, should put an end to any hope the Twins and Tigers have in catching the Sox.

Rangers are 3 games over .500 team and one of the most dangerous offenses in baseball. They will hardly be a cakewalk.

This is a dangerous stretch run here. We must prove that we can play on the road and the WS have had some nightmares down in Texas in the past.

When they win it's we. ie: We are awesome!!!!When they lose, it's them. ie: They suck!!!!Come on dicky, you know this.

Danks should have been a lock for the ASG(since when does a 2.5 ERA and a 1.1 WHIP not cut it?)...oh well...the rest is probably much better for him in the long run...

All nice an harmonious here and then the limp one shoots off his mouth. Go figure. Maybe you can tell us what number you wear on the team? Ohh no that's right- you just come up for air under Kenny's desk every now and then.

I honestly believe that you two do hold hands and skip down north Halsted. No ####!

Looking at this as a chance for these guys to rest up during the ASG for the second half of OUR campaign...

it might be nice for Danks to be pitching with a chip on his shoulder the rest of the season.

I would have had Floyd in ahead of Danks. I also would have at least picked out one guy from the bullpen.
