The Sox bullpen is better and the Sox rotation is better. The only thing you can maybe say is better is the offense.

they have the third best winning percentage in the majors. their defense needs to improve and they need more timely hitting and small ball, but the outside of that they have been looking pretty damn good. Especially in the clutch.
If Detroit won the last two games they would still be 3.5 games back with a lot of pitching questions. The Twins and White Sox don't have the same pitching questions, so I think you might be off base here.
DD don't you think if the Tigers had won the last two games, they would be very active in trading for a starting pitcher and possible setup/relief help.I mean the sticks are in Detroit, and they made deals to win this year, their not missing/needing much to pull this thing off.
I think the point we are trying to make here is that the WS were picked DEAD ####### LAST in their division this year. Right now they are 3.5 games up going into August.Excuse any/all of us for being happy with the outcome to this point. I had them lined at 80-82 wins. They are outperforming EVERYONE'S expectations.
I don't think they have anything to trade but Thames.
Not to question your opinion, but every major publication I saw had the Twins picked to finish last, I saw the Sox close to last, but not in last place. Nice season so far by the Sox by the way.

Now- we pretty much have to rely on the HR. Bring in speed and open up the offense.
