But some teams manage to bring out the absolute worst more often than the others: rude, cocky, uninformed fans who like to rub in their team's success, make excuses for bad behavior, and generally try to be as annoying as possible. 

In recent years my own vote for this dishonor is actually a tie between: 

1. New England Patriots fans

2. Ohio State Buckeyes fans

Considering the lack of playoff appearances in the last 20 years, I can somewhat understand the insufferableness, but Cowboys fans are reaching Trump supporter levels of annoyance.

I lived in Texas when they were bad, and they still were really ####### annoying.  They are one of the only fan bases in sports that talks crazy #### even when they lose. 

 
Grew up in Dallas/Ft Worth. Can't wait to see how obnoxious the fan base gets if we win another Super Bowl. It's going to be epic.

 
I consistently find it odd that the biggest cowboys fans on here have never even connected thru dfw airport it seems.  I don't get that at all.  

And here in Dallas we had the kc chiefs here for like 3 years 40 years ago and there are a #### ton of them still here.  Its strange. Is it like that elsewhere?

Same for the Lakers/Bulls now Warriors/Cavs.  And Yankees. And Duke. The shocking thing is these fans aren't rooting for Alabama yet. 

 
Definitely the Patriots.  When they had that doofy guy bent over on their helmet nobody liked them.  Half the bay area acts like they've been fans forever.

 
It's simple, any teams that have had the most success in their respective sports have the most annoying fanbase.  :IBTL:
