Who Are The 'Steals' At WR 12th Round & Beyond ? (1 Viewer)

Someone worth a late round flyer who will be available in the 32nd round let alone the 12th......Miles Austin in Dallas. Glenn's future is hazy at best, Crayton has been inconsistent and appears better suited to the slot. In this offense Austin could come out of nowhere and put up significant numbers.

What about Sam Hurd? He's actually started and played in games. I don't think Austin has even been in a game.

247 Chad Jackson NE

He's going to end up the Pats #2 (Welker is a #3/slot receiver) playing pretty much every down opposite Randy Moss. Gaffney is not an every down receiver and is best served as a 4th WR in multi receiver sets.
Please justify this statement. Thanks.

I'd take a shot at Demitrius Williams. Balt is *supposedly* going to be using 3 WR sets a lot this season, and Mason and Clayton are both possession reciever types. Williams is the deep threat and could end up starting. Whoever is throwing the ball will have a lot to do with how valuable he and the other Balt recievers are.
GD it stop revealing my deep sleepers! My contribution is going to be a synopsis of this thread. I LOVE Williams, but not if they continue to use him in the slot. He really does best when he can fight for balls using his athleticism. They really should move Mason inside in three-wide sets and let their athletes with speed go downfield. I genuinely believe that Williams could steal Clayton's starting job this year.
Mason should be in the slot inside of either Clayton or DemWilliams, with the other sent out wide on the other side (Split End). Those 3 plus Heap will be your 4 main targets with McGahee (and on occasion, Rice) in the backfield.

12 team re-draft league- no PPRI've noticed both Drew Bennett & Ron Curry available late. Aren't they both their team's respective #2 WR's ??Who else could be real 'steals' ??
Johhnie Lee Higgins if Javon and Curry go down.

I especially like D. Jackson, will be targeting him in all drafts this year.
 I disagree with the Galloway analogy, but I have been running contrary to the rest of the staff on DJax (and contrary to Cecil, who is really anexpert on all things Broncos). Cecil is convinced the guy to watch out for in Denver is Keary Colbert.
As a Denver fan, I can tell you I think Cecil is on the right track here. The coaching staff really seems to like Colbert.
I'm not sure that you can place too much importance on the depth charts put out by teams, but according to a blog by a Rotoworld writer, Colbert is 4th on thedepth chart behind Marshall, DJax and Eddie Royal.

I just did a 12 team mock and grabbed Reggie Brown in Round 15, Ernest Wilford in Round 16 and Mush Muhammad in Round 18. All three are most likely WR1 or 2s for their teams when the season opens.
Brown slipped or you had bad drafters. He doesn't fall that far in solid drafts.
I was in a 10 team 16 round draft last weekend and Reggie Brown was undrafted as well. This guy's stock seems to have fallen big among casual fantasy players, so he's definitely someone to target as a WR3/4 type. In the DraftDominator with my settings, he's WR30 and ADP 11.06. Really no need to draft this guy before round 9 unless you are a hardcore believer that he will be the #1 WR in Philly and he will outperform Curtis (who went 9th rd).In my more competitive league I am definitely targeting Curtis as a WR3 (start 3) in the late 6th or early 7th though. If Reggie is there in rd11+, the value is hard to pass up and honestly one of these 2 guys will have to have a solid season in the Philly pass offense.
