Who are you 'all-in' on? (1 Viewer)

Every year there are players you trade for/draft who you expect big things from. Not talking about studs like Andre, AP, or Rivers. Gambles you expect to produce big and may win your league for you.

1. In my redraft, Peyton Manning. Fell to me and had to take him. Huge value if he plays great, especially come playoff time.

2. In dynasty, need Finley to stay healthy. My gamble was turning down some trade offers banking on a full season. Same with Flacco. Turned down some offers expecting him to take the next step.

This thread could be fun/tough to bump at the end of the year.

Whatcha got?

In my redraft I'm all in on Brandon Lloyd. I went RB-RB and then grabbed Brady in round 3. Staring at Lloyd and Holmes in round 4, Lammey's tweets on Lloyd broke the tie.

In dynasty/keeper, I'm also all-in on Finley. Had to choose between him and Witten, an decided to keep the younger guy and traded Witten.

There are a few for me.

1. Felix Jones and Jahvid Best - Two guys, very similar situations. They both have all of the potential in the world, but injury concerns and general fears about their performance makes me very scared. They are my RB2 and 3, so I have a little more leeway than some do with these two guys (I have Lesean McCoy as RB1 and Fred Jackson as my RB4, and I can choose to only start two if needed), but I think I have a huge advantage if these two pan out.

2. Percy Harvin - He seemed to slip to me in every draft I was in, so I have him on all but one of my teams, and he is my WR2 in my main money league (or WR3, if Manningham is as good as I think he will be).

3. Greg Olsen - I took the shot on him as my Tight End this year, and I don't have much behind him. I have Jermaine Gresham as a backup, but I think my chances of getting good production out of the TE spot is on Olsen's shoulders.

In dynasty PPR leagues, Lance Kendricks, have picked him up in 5 leagues, the most recent was a late rookie draft which concluded last week before the 4th preseason game and I still got him at 2.05 (and if anyone considers that a reach, I don't mind making it).

Not a reach. At that spot, not a lot more upside than a talented TE with a young, emerging QB and a pass-happy OC with no discernible WR1 on the roster.Actually, all things considered, with LeShoure and Ryan Williams injuries, that's probably value.

Roddy White and Matt Ryan

Just dealt Schaub for more RB depth.

Roddy is my only proven WR, behind him Im pretty much piecing together a WR2 by commitee with likely WR3/4 type players (Meachem,Driver,Crabtree,Green,BMW,Plax,S.Smith(Phi)) so if Roddy goes down or has a bad year Im in big trouble.

I had my big money draft the other night and went temporarily insane and had a terrible draft. As a result I am all in on the subpar rb's I had to draft. They are: Best, DeAngelo Williams, Lynch, Tolbert, Dan Thomas, and Delone Carter.

I gambled HUGE on Britt. I have Dez Bryant but if Britt doesn't do well my receivers will be a liability.

M. Vick. Then give me Flacco or a combo of qb's late.

For entertainment purposes and the huge upside hard for me to pass up this guy. Becoming more and more of a no-brainer the closer I get to my draft.

I own Tampa Mike in my two main dynastys so I need him to produce. But for someone I'm all in on that is Kenny Britt. Grabbing him everywhere I can. I expect a top 10 finish this year, maybe even top 5.

Matthews and Wells.

I'm relying on them in my main dynasty, rest of the team is ready for a title and I need these guys not to totally suck.

I find myself all in on Manningham, Collie and Ingram. I'm getting them for what I consider good value but everyone else seems to disagree when I draft them. I play in 12 team leagues and I'm slotting and getting these guys back to back to back in almost every league. Ingram, Manningham, and Collie 4-6.

DeAngelo. If he stays healthy, I think he has a huge year, but he hasnt played 16 games for a couple years now.

Stafford. QBs went early, got a ton of value at RB, but I was left with Stafford as my only option by round 7. Another guy where Im not worried about production, just health.

MSW. I may have another sleeper WR step up, but in my money leagues that are start 2wr and 2 rb/wr flexes. I ended up with him as my WR3 (behind Nicks & Jennings) and my WR2 (behind Megatron). I think he's got a great chance to emerge as their #1 WR and he's got a QB now head and shoulders better than Garrard, but Im counting on him more than I planned on, as much as I like him.

Also, my goal this year was to wait on TE's but somehow I am getting Owen Daniels in just about every league. He keeps slipping to TE 9 or worse and I just have to take him. It seems people are so up Graham's bottom it is helping me out. Heck, I like Olsen but he has gone ahead of Daniels more times than not. Too many people wanting to be the smartest guy in the room and I feel they are making big mistakes.

Whatcha got?
In 12 PPR dynasties I've got Mendenhall and Felix in 10 each. And in six they're paired as my RB1 and RB2. If they're no good - I'm no good. VJax is the other one - seven leagues including four where he's my WR1.Garcon and Gronkowski could really help too - but I'd survive without them.

Felix - traded up to get him as RB2. I believe he'll be a Top 10 RB.

Julio - as my Flex, I think 1000/8 very doable with additional upside.

Kolb. I think he has 'it' and is going to show why he got paid big $. Having Fitz won't hurt.

QB's Michael Vick, Cam Newton

RB's Maurice Jones-Drew, Reggie Bush, Tim Hightower

WR's Wes Welker, Lance Moore, Earl Bennett

TE's Dallas Clark

DEF Pittsburgh

I wouldn't say I'm particularly all in on any specific player. But,

I could sure use Romo CJ DMC Nicks to give me 4 guaranteed studs each week.

Jahvid Best or Reggie Bush (ppr league), if one or both can stay healthy and be my flex, that'd be great.

Out of Santonio, Britt, L.Moore, and Amendola, I could use two of them to step up and fill my wr2 and wr3 slots.

Prayers sent.

Redraft

I'm all in on P. Manning and R. Wayne. I've taken them as a combo in two leagues because they seem like great value. If they hit, I think I have a great chance to win both those leagues as I started both drafts RB/RB and then got them.

Stafford, I've been all in on this guy for years but this year I've gotten him in all my redraft leagues. I've managed to pair him with Manning in 2 leagues so I'm not totally dependent on him but if Manning falters or is not healthy then I'm rolling with Stafford all the way.

Dynasty

I'm all in and have been all in on Manningham for about 4 years now. Drafted him as a college player that we can hold and have held him until now. I'm hoping he turns the corner and pushes my team over the edge.

I'm also all in on Ingram, same as above. I've held him for 2 years as a college player and hope he has the rookie season I believe he is capable of in NO.

LeGarrette Blount.

I kept Foster and then grabbed Blount in the 3rd. I'm banking on him being the break out guy this year. We'll see if I'm right or not.

Stafford. Got him in every league (5).

Wells. In the two big money leagues. Not trying to get him, but did. Not feeling him, tho. Prove me wrong, Beanie, you big sissy.
