Who are you dropping? (1 Viewer)

Im growing real impatient w/ Odel Beckham. The worst part is that it could be one of them situations akin to first impressions are lasting impressions. I mean I figure this guy could/should be a real game-changer especially in return yardage Leagues (could of been, its probably someones job now) But What the ... Nearly four weeks into the Season, and hes not practicing. Shouldn't the Docs/GMEN know this was gonna happen and placed him on pup list or something. Did the Giants lose out on having an additional player on the 53?

Anyway Im freakin short an IDP now, and it pains me to think that Odel is probably the weakest Link? I mean I expected an easier drop, someone like Christin who imo is growing old(er) on the BN Or McKinnon How was I too figure No AD!!

I mean I understand its in my best interest to drop someone, and go for the Win. This is just odd/strange to me. I mean I drafted CJ Mosley ahead of Odel, but only because I knew that others would desire Mosely a bit more. I mean I was figuring Odel did more for my team this Season than my 1st rnd pick Evans.

p.s. I realize ya probably was hoping for a redraft name, much less all the ranting/reasoning so my apologies..

Damn near my entire roster. What an abomination of a team I have in a new salary cap league I joined.

RG3 - yes, actually thinking about dropping him. He will never be worth the 9 million I am paying him.

Christine Michael - bought into the hype with him and paid for it. He's my highest paid RB and isn't even active for games. Losing faith. But hey, "there's always next year! (again)"

J-Stew and Toby Gerhart - useless and worthless. All that preseason hype for Gerhart and either he sucks, the line sucks, or both. And J-Stew...injured yet again.

Hakeem Nicks and Kenny Stills - Hakeem Nicks is just not getting the looks in that offense. Too inconsistent to be in a starting lineup. Stills was supposed to be making a move to be the #2 option in the NO passing game. He can't stay healthy either and is also too inconsistent.

Dennis Pitta - may never play football again. What is he...89 years old? My grandparents have stronger hips than he does!

Akiem Hicks - this was another guy that was in line for "a monster year"...he's been invisible.

J. Cyprien - so much hype, so little production in the box scores.

Needless to say, I am 0 - 3 in this league and I'm looking to rebuild already.

What did you spend the other $191 of the $200 budget on?

Cutting loose Ben Tate and Torrey Smith in some short bench leagues. Holding everybody else, it's only week 3. Not a good week for WW pickups with a lot of the worthwhile guys on bye in Week 4 (unless you have deeper bench and can hold).

Trying to pick up Robinson and Taliaferro. Debating between Hunter, Wright, Gerhart and Ingram as players to drop. Leaning toward the Tenn WRs.

Struggling hard with the decision as to whether to drop Jordan Reed. Anyone else jettisoned him?
I would be worried about how Niles Paul has been looking. He is playing well and has better chemistry with Cousins because they have more reps together in practice. If you have Paul now, and another TE rostered that you can start after Reed gets back and both his and NP's value takes a hit, go for it.

Yeah, I may have to pull the trigger. I actually hedged my bets by acquiring more TEs off waivers and now have both Donnell and Kelce, either who can start. I cannot keep 3 TEs rostered however; our benches are not that deep. I just hate dropping him if he ends up being a Graham type but he just can't stay healthy...

I need a bye week fill in for week 4, but decided to keep him and drop Cook to pick up Owen Daniels for the week.

I think I'm going to drop Chris Johnson instead.

Pretty much anyone who isn't healthy or on a bye =/ Anyone from Decker, to Welker... Ingram to Tate/West/Crowell... Dalton to Russell Wilson.

Actually thought about taking the loss in 2/3 leagues because Week 4 byes will probably be the worst this season w/ a lot of high profile fantasy starters and injuries. Not sure it is worth gambling on the likes of McFadden, Pierre Thomas, Sankey, and Eli to try to eek out a win this week.

Christine Michael and Kenny Stills are droppable from my squad. Took Michael as a lottery ticket but lottery tickets can't win if their number isn't being called.

What are people's thoughts on Vincent Jackson? Anyone still holding out hope?
I don't have him but might as well see what happens with Glennon for at least 1 week I would think.
Yeah, the guy's had 1100 yards and at least 7TDs in 5 of the last 6 seasons. Not going to pull the plug after just 3 bad games. Certainly is getting frustrating, though. Going to bench him this week, so you know he's going to go off.

Dropping Bowe (if I win blind bid) for any one of: Kerley/Marv Jones/Allen Robinson. Not remembering why I drafted that piece of dreck.

Thinking of kicking Tom Brady to the curb. I have Russell Wilson and Cousins (start only 1 QB). Haven't been able to pull the trigger yet due to his past...and thinking that he might get things in order.

Is Gerhart droppable at this point? I hate that the answer has to be yes... :(
I dropped him last week, week 3 just reaffirmed it.
Im going to try to hold for another week or two. Maybe the threat of Bortles can open up some running lanes.
I was so ready throw this garbage out with his poor week 3 performance. Bortles changes things a bit (I hope). I too will hold on for 1 or 2 more weeks.

Chris Johnson is on the chopping block. I'll try to trade him to Ivory owner as a handcuff for dirt.

It's safe to cut bait with Devonte Freeman. If/when Jackson gets injured, ATL looks to run a RBBC. I don't see him having any redraft value this year.

he is definately a unicorn - The second you drop him he will go for 10/200 and 2-td's.

I have my claims in and I'm letting both Ridley and Wright go.

Ridley will be inconsistent at best and I have Pierre as my RB3 right now. I know his ceiling is much lower but he will get me enough points in the weeks that I have to use him, whereas Ridley will probably be up & down all season.

Wright has Justin Hunter throwing to him, no thanks, not anymore at least. It looks like that passing game can get shut down pretty easily. I feel comfortable relying on Greg Jennings to be my WR 3.

These are some tough guys to drop, but any team that rushes to get them hopefully starts them against me when they put up their stinkers.

EDIT: couldn't pull the trigger on Ridley, god help me

Drop that man!!!

I was in the exact same situation and have cut bait with Brady. Sure he may have some decent games this year, but there's just too much value on the wire to pass up. I love the Wilson / Cousins combo. They're gonna continue to combine for some elite QB production this year.

I just put my claims in to drop Fitzgerald. I don't really want to do it, but I'm desperate for a win, and I need someone to start this week. I'm claiming T. WIlliams, A Robinson, or J. Matthews over him in a 10 team PPR league.

I hope I don't stay up too late wondering if Taliaferro is going to be the WW add of the year

I'd skip over Taliaferro, I think he's back to the practice squad

Thoughts on dropping Terrance West, Trent Richardson, or Knile Davis? I'm 0-3 and need to stream a defense and tight end or risk falling further into the hole. Leaning towards West and Richardson. I still think Richardson could be good.

I would hold/am holding West.

I wouldn't draft Richardson but if I had him I would trade or drop him.

I don't think he will go back, seeing as Rice is GONE, and not coming back. He showed what he is capable of, Forsett is expendable.

I am afraid to drop so mannyyyy~~I dropped Michael a few weeks ago. I'm going to hold Freeman for now I just know as soon as I drop him he is going to go off....thank you for Sankey tidbits. I pretty much have to start him this week....

That is the question I'm wondering this week. I'm going back and forth with present opportunity but limited talent (Asiata), need (Larry Donnell) or potential great add (Taliaferro).

I believe situations like this is why the "Pro's" are hesitant to go "QB early", because its akin to the RB position in relationship to next man up. This isn't like WR for instance where the BN guy become the fill-in at the flanker spot.

I almost think this choice needs its own post, I mean Brady may not be producing now, but is Wilson gonna put out good numbers in the Playoffs? I really doubt anyone can confirm anything for Cousins (imho)
