Gotta think everyone with no ties to the northeast are rooting for anyone who plays against the Pats. I'm a Redskins fan who hates the Giants but I'll be cheering them on against the despicable dark side.

:goodposting:I dislike both teams but I have started to like Eli a bit. I'd like to see him beat Brady/Belicheck again.

Packers fan and I'll be rooting for the Patriots. There's something about Eli Mannings look on his face after a screw up that makes me want to punch him, repeatedly. That, and because the Giants beat us in the playoffs

Eli's dumb face

betting giants as i think they are the hotter more complete team right now, but rooting pats. i enjoy watching the greatness of brady and belichick. the more people hate them, the more i root for them.

After meeting some of the families of the Giants' players at the game on Sunday, I am firmly on the Giants bandwagon.

I'm in the midwest and a die-hard Vikings fan, but I love seeing the Patriots win simply because their haters are so incredibly insufferable.

Vikings fan. I want the Giants to beat the Pats again. I think the 'Is Eli the better Manning?' ESPN narrative will be more tolerable than 'Is Brady the best QB of all time?' debate.

This is probably the first time in many years where I honestly can't say that I am choosing a side. I hate watching any of the NFL East because of the obsession the media has with them, and the Patriots are basically the exact same thing except they have a more obnoxious coach.

A few years ago I wanted the Giants to win so they could stop the Pats perfect season, but this year, I'm completely indifferent.

I am a Steeler fan so if the result is Brady is psychologically crushed and the teams is pounded into the turf I am a happy man. Unfortunately I don't think the Giants will route the Pats LOL.

Lifelong Eagles fan here (most of you know this.) Believe it or not I can't stand both teams but hate the Giants less than the Patriots. Voted Giants. No surprise I guess.

Once the Eagles missed out on the playoffs, I was hoping for a Baltimore/San Francisco Super Bowl, with Baltimore winning. Last weekend really was a downer.

Packers fan rooting for the Patriots. Not sure why. Probably because Tom Coughlin and Eli appear to be so put off by being in professional football.

Titans fan rooting for a good game.

Patriots fans can be annoying, but the haters are worse.

The Mannings are annoying, but I like to see the little brother succeed.

It's good to see Coughlin succeed.

I'm a Michigan guy from birth so I like seeing Tom Brady in the discussion for GOAT.

I don't care who wins, I just hope this game isn't a let down after two great championship games.

I'm an Eagles fan and I despise the Giants but my bro-in-law is good friends with Hynoski the FB so I guess i'm Giants fan for one day and one day only.

Eagles fan living in Boston. 18-1 was the greatest football game ever played. NE fans are in fact whiny tools. I will be pulling hard for the Gmen

I'm apparently the only Eagles fan who isn't rooting for the Giants.

Glad Dallas didn't make it so my fellow Eagles fans would have to root for them :loco:

Same here. I'll probably be playing drinking games with my friends outside for most of the time. :banned:

Dallas fan. gotta go with the Giants here, hate to say it. the Pats are like the new Cowboys which makes me hate them much more.

I don't have hate for the Patriots, so I'd like to see Brady get a win that will calm down the masses from this incessant questioning of his greatness. On the other hand, I've grown to enjoy watching the Giants play despite some dicey personal history with them. Truly the first Super Bowl in a while where I wouldn't mind seeing either team win.

in a dome, I have to think the team speed of the Giants will win.

as far as a rooting interest, I don't really have any. I'm just hoping for a shootout.

I'm with you, but will be watching the game with Giants fans, so I'll be forced to root for the Evil Empire/Goliath/The Axis of Evil etc to make it more fun :football: :boxing:

Not sure what it is, but I've always liked Brady. Maybe its the Michigan thing. But I'll be rooting for the Pats. Kind of. I very well could change mid-game if the Giants mount a big comeback or something exciting happens.

I hate both teams so I really don't care. Last time around I was rooting for the giants to ruin the pats perfect season. I'll watch and root for nicks, gronkowski and a good game that comes down to the wire

Going into the playoffs, there were only two teams that I simply could not stand. It figures they'd be the last two teams standing. I'm rooting for the ground to open up and swallow them both.

:goodposting: Exactly how I feel. I might not even watch this year (specially since I have exams on both Mon and Tues.)

Almost precisely how I felt for the Pats/Ravens AFCC game. I was rooting for a meteor to strike the stadium at midfield, but the ground swallowing both teams would have worked too. This go 'round I'll be rooting for a meteorite to merely strike the Patriots' bench only.

You meant this, right?

I save this kind of hatred for the Dallas Cowboys. These two teams have done nothing to deserve vitriol. They have also done nothing to deserve praise. They're just....meh. I may watch the commercials.

Their nicknames are the "Pats" and the "G-Men". That alone merits vitriol.

Since my Steelers blew it.The Patriots took care of the Ravens now the Giants need to take care of the Patroits. And then all is well with the world again.
