Who are your biggest Roster Cloggers? (3 Viewers)

Worthy, Shakir, Monangai & Allgeier seem to be my bench cruxes with an occasional weekly play.

Late edit: Benson on IR

Hampton and Benson for me. Easily.
Throw in Bucky and you have my trifecta from hell.
When I think of roster cloggers I don't include players that could be close to returning. Also, I only look at it through the dynasty lense, not redraft. I think they have a vastly different definition between the two. Roster cloggers in dynasty are guys like Isaac Guerendo, Trevor Etienne, Shedeur Sanders, Jalen Milroe, Marshawn Lloyd, Raheim Sanders, Calvin Austin, Dyami Brown, Dillon Gabriel, Jarquez Hunter, Jordan James, Luke McCaffrey, Will Shipley, Savion Williams, Will Levis, Jay'lynn Polk, Spencer Rattler. There are many more that look like these. You could argue against Hunter, Shipley and James, but they might be roster cloggers in dynasty.

One I left off my dynasty list of roster cloggers is Adonai Mitchell. Is he another Troy Williamson? Has athletic traits and speed to burn, but has hands of stone.

My whole TE room in a 16-team dynasty league (Hockenson, Mayer, Jonnu).

Alternately plagued by QBs that can’t hit the side of a barn, other TEs, and flaccid offenses.

I thought the reason for having Allgeier is mainly if Robinson goes down? He’s good enough to be a high end handcuff, or hold as a non Robinson owner.
Yeah, that's why you can't drop him. But Robinson has stayed healthy and Allgeier is only really delivering unpredictable TDs. When pressed into usage he has laid an egg for me.

If you drafted them in dynasty, hopefully you didn't have great expectations of them year one. They were 3rd or 4th round picks and you needed an injury or in some cases 2 injuries for them to have value. Anticipated roster cloggers for a year or two.

I agree in principle 99% of the time, but sometimes we draft players that we were never really in on to begin with. It's easy to move off of them quickly.

Charbonnet - Not worth starting in most formats, but can't really drop him, either.
McLaurin - Too good to cut but hasn't been healthy.
Fields/Daniels - Rushing upside too high to cut, but can't rely on them so they indirectly force you to roster a high end QB2 or at least 4 QBs in superflex.
Rachaad White - May change now with emergence of Tucker, but he gets touches but isn't an ideal RB2.
Cooper Kupp - Reputation and involvement just enough to not cut him but he's not start-able.

?

Unless you trade him to the Bijan owner, you can't really start him and his upside is too high to cut him. But, I didn't include him on my list because this is exactly who I would have thought he'd be when I drafted him so hard to complain.
Yeah. Not complaining as much as noting how often I ended up in this spot 🤦‍♂️

Painful this week when you're rolling out Pollard in the flex instead of cutting him :yucky:

This years clog award finalists on my team are: Saquon, Breece Hall, JJ McCarthy, Keon Coleman, Kaleb Johnson.....and the award goes to(drum roll).........

SAQUON BARKLEY!!!! From penthouse to sh*thouse in one year, quite an accomplishment.

He's #11 RB in PPR. This is a bit of an overreaction.
I know you specify "on your team" but I don't think anyone can claim the #11 RB is a roster clogger

Agreed - huge underperformer but unless you’re absolutely stacked at RB, can’t see how Saquon would be a roster clogger. Maybe a roster limiter.
