San Fran

New Orleans

Giants

in that order ... San Fran has a Super Bowl Defense, New Orleans can go toe to toe with GB and has a better running game, The Giants have shone they can play with anyone when there D line is on (Could have beaten 49ers or GB if they had gotten any breaks).

No one else has a chance

The Saints are very capable of beating GB. These teams are almost mirror images. NO +3.5 @ GB

These 2 teams would need a big turnover to beat them, but it is possible.

Dallas has the offensive firepower and pass rush with D Ware to challenge GB. Dallas +6.5 @ GB

Detroit also has similar scoring ability and a dangerous pass rush. Detroit +6.5 @ GB

These other teams technically could beat them, but they can't keep up with GB's offense. Terrible weather/special teams touchdown, etc needed to get the edge.

SF +6, I would bet GB.

Atl +7.5, I would bet GB.

NYG +7.5, I like GB as well.

I think Atlanta could perform well at Lambeau, running the ball with Turner. They shut the Packers down in the first half earlier in the season but unfortunately the Falcons offense didn't show up in the 2nd half.

I think KC showed any team can beat the Packers. If you can disrupt Rogers and get a break or two, the Packers are not that good. I don't think the Packers will win unless their defense shows they can play better than they have all season.

San Fran and New Orleans could both put up a fight.

If I had to say any NFC team I'd be on the Eagles. What could have been.... :kicksrock:

Even in Lambeau i think any team in the NFC could beat the Packers on any given day.

their defense is average at best and their running game can't be counted on.

Now they could easily win the super bowl, but if they lost in the 2nd round i wouldn't be shocked either.

Except for the fact that the Giants kicked the #### out of GB only to have the game taken away from them by poor officiating.
And where might that game have been played?
It doesn't matter where ...The Giants kicked the crap out of GB in GB on there way to the Superbowl
Okay. Good luck with that HIDEOUS secondary against Rodgers in Lambeau.

Well...A...they did not kick the crap out of them this year.B...2007 is relevant now?

As for the question...any team can beat them...since they went and handled things so poorly and jinxed themselves talking about being undefeated.

 a kick in OT isnt considered kicking the crap out of them now is it?

They both involve kicking.

I think Atlanta and the Lions have a chance too. Both teams have been playing well. The Lions are young, and I could see penalties hurting them, but I think they have a chance especially if Kevin Smith stays healthy for their running game.

Any of those teams, and more, can beat the Packers. In order for most of them to do so, the Packer offense has to pull a fail like they did at KC.

Assuming the Packers Offense comes to play, as they have for 14 of 15 weeks, only the Saints have an even chance of beating the Pack.

I've been feeling we're headed towards a Saints/Ravens Super Bowl for awhile now.

Not completely sold on the Ravens, but the Saints sure look capable of winning it.

SF is really hurting @ WR right now, and who knows how healthy they will be come playoff time. The passing offense is too inconsistent and anemic to be considered a threat. The 49ers have 2 phases of the game that is playoff caliber. I'm more worried about their offense, which isn't.

There is no way the Saints beat the Packers unless the game is in the Superdome. The 49ers are the only team that can beat them at Lambeau and I don't think their defense would be able to contain Rodgers enough to keep it close with their ineptitude in the red zone.

:goodposting: The Packers have an impressive passing offense but they lack the traditional components of a dominant cold weather SB run. Which is not to say they aren't ahead of the curve in the new pass first league we have today; I'm just saying that on a historical basis, northern climate teams tend to be built on defense and controlling the clock, usually through running the ball inside. Neither is a strength of the Pack.In terms of teams that are built to beat this Packers team, I think the 49ers and Falcons are the best candidates. That said, both the Lions and the Saints have sufficient talent to outgun them. You can't say either of those same things about the Cowboys or Giants.

:goodposting: The KC game was a good wakeup call for them, just as the Saints loss to STL got them going.SF is the only team in the NFC with a knockout defense. They could very easily have a Ravens-type run to the Superbowl. If the Saints play the Pack for the NFC title, I hope Gene Saratore(sp?) is reffing the game. He'll watch those GB WR's closely and won't let them get away with pushing off (refed the GB/KC game, also called a couple of OPI's on Burleson in the DET/NO game)

Trent Dilfer has a ring. A knockout defense can cover up a lot of problems on the other side of the ball.

The two teams I think could beat the Packers are the Saints and Eagles.

The Eagles are a totally different team now. With a healthy Vick and the defense coming together combined with the best all around RB in the league, I think they would really give Green Bay a tough game. Unfortunately for the worst fans in the entire NFL, the Eagles will be watching the game and wondering...."what if?"

The Saints can and WILL beat the Packers, in Green Bay. The Saints defense is a little better than the Packers. The Saints offense is on a roll and should have beaten Green Bay in the first game of the season if Sean Payton doesnt make the biggest bone head coaching move of his career on that Ingram run.

I dont think the Falcons would be in the game for long, nor will they be in the playoffs for long. If they go to New Orleans for the playoffs, I think we just saw what will happen.

The 49ers "super bowl caliber" defense is extremely over rated. They got their asses handed to them by the Cardinals, what would the Packers do to them? They beat up on Big Ben when he clearly shouldnt have been playing. Im not buying this team at all. I see the 49ers as the weakest team in the playoffs and that includes whoever wins between Dallas and NYG.

Saints VS Packers ----> winner will face the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

Few things...the Eagles? Hah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!As for the Saints...sure its possible, where I think they have trouble is that Brees takes a few too many chances and GB takes advantage of those. Had 2 INTs last night...and could have easily had a couple more on some throws.Should have beaten them the first time? Not really. They would have still had to get to 2 point conversion just to tie the game.WIll be a great game and quite exciting if those 2 meet though.

That SF defense is for real. I won't predict them to make it all the way but I also wouldn't be surprised if they were able to beat both New Orleans and GB en route to the Super Bowl.

That said, I think New Orleans has the best chance. I think if those 2 teams played 100 times, it'd be split right down the middle. New Orleans has the slight advantage in defense and running game while Rodgers simply makes fewer mistakes than Brees (and pretty much anyone).

Saints for sure. I think Brees will be poised and the running game will be on for the Saints. The Saints offensive line play will make the difference IMO.

Saints vs Patriots Superbowl

Key to beating the packers is to get them on the road, control the clock, don't turn the ball over, play them down a few linemen and their top wr, throw in a few drops by their recievers and you're there. Piece of cake , I don't see how they win a playoff game with such a simple formula out there to beat them. :P

49ers have no shot at beating New Orleans or Green Bay much less both of them kicking 5 FGs. They would have to convert in the red zone which they haven't been able to do all season.

If the Packers do win the Super Bowl, it will be with the lowest ranked defense ever to win one. With the Packers and Patroits the worst defenses in the league, both giving up over 400 yards per game, it is pretty likely the new standard for winning a SB with a terrible defense will be set.

maybe the 49's, the saints have never won a road playoff game, I don't see it happening in Green Bay for sure. If you can't beat Seattle on the road, how can you expect the saints to beat the packers in the playoffs

The team I fear the most are the 49er's. They're like the Chiefs on steroids. Great running game and a shut down D. The Niners are built for crummy weather at Lambeau. Saints? Meh..You get them outside of the Superdome and they're a different team. I don't see them running and gunning in freezing temps and potentially snow. Lions are pretty solid, but they always manage to shoot themselves in the foot with penalties. I don't fear the Cowgirls at all..Giants are solid and could give us a push..

Week 1, the Packers beat the Saints on a goal line stand, with Ingram being stopped on the last play of the game. Why you don't put that into Brees's hands, IDK. Next time they will, I think the Saints are the biggest threat.

9ers took out Pitt despite Smith missing some throws. I thought Smith had to be perfect to win that game, and he didn't. If the Packers get up early, they're probably screwed, but the defense can definitely slow them.

The Lions, if facing them will get their 3rd look--leaves a lot of room for adjustments. I'd still take the Packers here w/o question, but it could happen.

Please dont make me defend the Eagles....I am a Cowboys fan for Pete's sake!Easily the Eagles would have been the most dangerous team in the playoffs had they actually made the playoffs. Vick would eat up the Packers or Saints defenses, McCoy is a machine, and the defense is designed to stop teams like the Saints and Packers. I would say they are one of the few teams in the NFL that could actually stop those two teams. Take out the games that the Eagles missed because Vick was injured and they would already have the NFC East wrapped up and would easily be the hottest team going into the playoffs.

i think on any given sunday anyone can beat anyone except for jacksonville because gabbert is a total wussy

Speaking as a typical joe-six-pack Packer fan, for the first playoff game after the bye I would be very comfortable playing Dallas or Atlanta, more concerned about the Lions, and the Giants are the one team I don't want to see at Lambeau.

To more directly answer the question, I think it is quite clear that any decent NFC team could beat the Packers if the chips fall the right way for them.
