Who has off tomarrow? (3 Viewers)

I was just out, and I'm getting the impression that more people work today than I would have guessed.

I thought most people were off today. I think I'm wrong.

yeah... I never had this off until last year.

office looked up and realized that other people in the construction/interiors world (vendors, subs, clients, buildings) were closed and it made us look bad to be open.

Open even though our competitors and clients are mostly closed. Just saw we're open on presidents day as well. No time off until memorial. Nonsense

Monday is one of my six paid holidays this year. Wife is watching grandkids. Might as well be working. Will end up doing yard work all day since the day is pretty much wasted.

I'll have to work tomorrow but with attorneys wanting to leave early (or have already left) and all the work I'm putting in tonight, it should be a lazy day of gaming while I pretend to work from home.

I took the day off. Went from :towelwave: to :kicksrock: in ten minutes though as I am now helping the wife babysit four grandkids, one of which is sick. Honestly wish I had just gone to work.

Always love seeing this thread bumped.

Happy 4th!!! May you get A little sun while drinking Coors Light, eating a dog fresh off the grill, while blowing up stuff (other than your hand).

:hifive:

I actually have to work tomarrow (Saturday)  because it's the second day after quarter end and I do accounting. Stupid big banks....

Nothing quite like being on leave last week, waking up this morning, getting ready for work, then seeing this thread bumped and remembering it's Columbus day which we have off. :) :bag:

i can finally participate in this thread.   company threw us a handful of new holidays this year besides the one's that everyone has.   mountain biking at noon.

When you're retired without family, do you even notice the holidays?  Do you wake up and realize that yesterday was Christmas?
