Who has off tomarrow? (1 Viewer)

After this we are in the long stretch between holidays.   Next one is Memorial Day which is over 3 months away.  Really need some March/April holiday although that is spring break season for the kiddies and teachers.
We have a holiday pit of despair  between New Years Day & Memorial day. At least I have a job, so there's that.

My company hates holidays so we're working.

The Chinese owned engineering firm across the hall is closed.  Just complete nonsense

Off tomorrow and Monday. Between vacation, sick days and holidays, I'll only work 2 of the last 12 business days.

The beauty of working for a company that is going out of business.

my train into the City usually has 100 folks up in this car ... today: 5.

i'm thoroughly enjoying ripping these MOAFs and picking my nose - a few nut scratches tossed in for good measure

Off today, per the NYSE holiday calendar.

Unfortunately moving tomarrow, and still have a lot of packing and pre-moving to do.

Deffinately not my favrite activety.

Boss sent an email Friday to WFH Monday :pickle:

BBQ, 9 quick holes of golf, & swimming going down today

@ChrisCooleyFan how about editing the title so we can search for this?

Wait...  oh, I get it, tomarrow makes it easier to search. That's brilliant.  :hifive:

Today we had the three highest ranking executives - all splitting between noon and 1pm - one guy on the support desk, two people completing the monthly bill runs.

I'm taking Thursday off for a day trip to the East End (we're going out Wednesday night.) Odds of me making it in Friday are decreasing exponentially.

Been off since being let go from my job on April 19th. Actually looking forward to going back to work on Wednesday, though a little typical new job stress.

Been on vacation for the last week, today was my first day back. This afternoon boss tells me to take tomorrow and let some troops know. He then says, just tell the troops, you were on vacation for a week. Then tells me he is ####### with me, everyone can work from home tomarow.

4 day weekend after the last 7 off. 1 work day in the last 12 :pickle:

Great way to close out the summer.

Off tomarrow but with a 5 yr old, 3 yr old, and 1 yr old I sort of wish I wasn’t.
I am "officially" back on 1/2 but have already told the wife I'm working part of next week, just to keep my sanity.  Might drink cocktails and watch bowls on espn website for a few hours at the office.  But I'm gonna "work."

Was going to take some time off during the holidays. But then, as usually is the case, my wife agreed to watch grand kids EVERY SINGLE DAY of the holiday season. We had the youngest two overnight last night. We now have a min of two, max of four, every weekday between now and Jan 8th. I see absolutely no point in taking a day off to sit home and watch Paw Patrol while fighting to keep the little heathens out of the pantry every three seconds. It is the one contentious issue we have in our marriage. Her kids love to use us as free babysitters, and my wife refuses to say no. Federal holidays are essentially useless to me. But I'm not ####### bitter about it or anything.

Our organization gets the week by

Between Christmas and New  Years off.  We also get our birthday off. Since mine is during that week, I'm able to take the 2nd off. Also took 2 days of vacation on the 3rd and 4th.

One day work weeks should be the norm.

Been off since the 20th and I’m in Hawaii until the 29th.  Then a 3 day weekend over New Year’s Day.  I am lucky.
