Who is going with rent a defense this year? (1 Viewer)

Let the guppies take Seattle and SF early. I'm going rent a defense again this year.

Bloom's "rent a defense" weekly article was money last year. Thoughts?

I usually do and I love it. I did take SEA last night because they fell to me very cheaply (or so I think), what else could I do.

I'm sure people will be taking the Bucs week one for starters.

If Cinci or St Louis fall to me at a good place, I'll take one of them. Otherwise, I'll rent.

SD, KC, Buff and Mia won't be drafted, and they all get Oakland or the Jests twice.

I'm planning on doing this again. Drafted Colts vs Oakland for week 1.

Bucs did go undrafted and if Revis plays week 1 I may drop the Colts and play them instead.

Have done this the past few years with great success. Took IND with my last pick. Might hold them for 2 weeks as they have OAK at home for the opener and then MIA at home week #2. The only thing that makes this a little difficult is if you have short benches (which I do). IMHO this strategy works best when you've got the bench space to pick up a great matchup 2 weeks ahead of time.

I generally hold on to one D, and pick another up here and there. It cost $5 in my league to drop/add, so it can get costly picking up a new D every week.
