who is this Harry Douglas guy? (1 Viewer)

I know he is a rookie and he is kinda smallish (176) from the profile i see on him, but is this guy any good?

Is he better than Laurent Robinson (one of my fav sleepers). M.Ryan looks to be a very good qb.

The ATL wr2 might needs to be looked into.

What you guys got on this cat?

He's the slot WR there. And considering his size, it's likely that's all he'll ever be. He's not better than Robinson, just healthier. Robinson has been injured all year, but he's practicing this week, and should see more action as the season goes on. I'm not convinced that Jenkins will lose his job, but a platoon seems likely, rendering all but Roddy White useless for fantasy.

Redraft, obviously he won't be much. Dynasty... could be interesting. I dropped him in a few leagues, then he had a nice game, and I was lucky enough to get him back (seems he wasn't on anyone's radar.)

He's in the slot now, but in many PPR leagues with a 3/4 wr start requirement, there's definitely room for a steady 4/65 guy. They are also using him in a running play or two almost every game. You have to like that.

All in all, he's quietly putting together a solid rookie season.

I didn't watch any Louisville games but some Louisville guys I know said that Harry Douglas was a huge reason why Brian Brohm looked good there. Harry Douglas looks to have some potential.

He was a stud @ Louisville as Brian Brohm's go to guy.

He is starting to work well with Ryan lately (6 targets last week). Smallish, but good speed - nice potential - similar to a DeSean Jackson.

I just picked Douglas up off the waiver wire in 2 leagues. Given Atlanta/Ryan's late-season schedule (he's playing in domes weeks 12, 14, 15, 16 (and 17), with the only "outside" game at Qualcomm in San Diego week 13 (but the weather is almost always fine in San Diego), I think a lot of high-yardage type contests are likely in that time span, making Douglas a nice late-season WR3-4 option if I have injury problems or other circumstances (arrests, suspensions) deplete my usual starters.

I'm assuming he continues to develop/establish rapport with Ryan. I figured I'd best grab him now while Atlanta was on bye, before he strings together some decent games and gets on the other owners' radars.

My .02.

By the way, the string of "dome" games actually starts week 10, with 5 of the last 8 in the Georgia Dome and 7 of the last 8 in a dome at some venue - I'm liking this Douglas pickup more and more...
