Who will be the next hot WR pickup? (1 Viewer)

I'd Allen Robinson worth dropping Torrey Smith for?
I wouldn't. T Smith has started slowly but will get his. It's only been 3 weeks. Pitta's injury will help T Smith's numbers too.
Interesting. I would have dropped Torrey Smith for Allen Robinson in a heartbeat. I own both and am considering dropping Smith for a bye week kicker to save Haushka. Lammey also thinks Torrey's targets should increase. Although he didn't do much with his 8 targets last week. I'm worried that Torrey's route tree is too limited or that they don't trust him enough to use him on anything but deep patterns, and bracket coverage nullifies him. I don't see how losing Pitta helps matters.
No question he's started slowly this year and Steve Smith has been busy, but let's not forget Torrey had 1128 yards last year, mostly with Pitta out. Pitta gone again simply means more targets going elsewhere, and Daniels won't ge them all. I try to be careful not to overreact to a few week stretch, whether it be the first three or some middle three. I think Torrey will be fine. Just two weeks ago Flacco said Torrey could catch 100 balls. While that looks like hyperbole now, it still says Flacco considers him a heavily targetable WR in his mind, and I think that will begin to happen even though so far it hasn't. I'd hate to be the guy who dumps him after 3 weeks just before he gets going.

Kenny Britt? He was dropped everywhere after week 2, but had a renaissance in game 3. Poor QB play hurts, but they made a concentrated effort last week to get the ball into his hands.
I would literally have to be down to no options to ever consider starting Kenny Britt.

Guys, the only answer here is Marvin Jones...he is sitting on most wws right now. If you can make room for him on your team, he is the guy to get.

cut torry smith and felt great about it.

Flacco has eyes for S.Smith and him only pretty much, and Steve Sr. goes nuts this weeks vs Carolina, gonna be a bloodbath

Ehh. I don't think Jones is worth overpaying for other than as an AJ Green handcuff. Jones may have a few random big weeks but hard to picture as a consistent starter. His TDs were loaded towards 1-2 games last year. Cincy D is salty which limits the shootout or garbage time factor. Sanu has a role equal to or greater than last year. Coming off injury.

As always, I could be wrong.

I Need Two Pickups This Week With Floyd, Sanders, Welker, And Baldwin On A Bye. I've Still Got Benjamin Plugged In But Don't Trust Mike Evans Yet To Start him.

Thinking It's Time To Drop Cody Latimer?

Hoping For Robinson And Royal.

A guy that has scored 4 TDs in a game is on my radar no matter what. I think now is the time to grab him and see what happens. Good buzz on him coming into this year and Cincy has looked good. I'm in.

Fair points in response. Plus Tyler Eifert out. As you said Cincy has looked great thus far.

With AJ and Sanders on bye Im stuck with starting Davante Adams next to Dez. I was thinking I was going to stick with that, but I think Robinson is the better play at least for this week so picked him up today. I loved him at PSU and if he does end up turning into Bortles top target I'd have been kicking myself for passing on him.

Of course if Cobb breaks a jumpstick I'll be kicking myself for dropping Adams, but I'll take that chance.
