Who will Champ Bailey cover? (1 Viewer)

It doesn't really matter. The WRs production in TEN is horrible.

Champ's job is important this week in not letting Johnson race up the sideline. I highly doubt the Broncos are even worried about the Titans WRs. The Titans haven't been able to use the fear of CJ to open up the passing game but they should be able to. Til that happens...

If it were a big 3rd down and rolling with the "he can cover anyone" mindset-blanketing Bo Scaife would be the most disruptive.

If you watch the Titans, many CBs (even some of the ones great in pass coverage) have trouble shedding a blocker from time to time. They're just looking for one time so CJ can take off. Champ's "on the spot" in a different way this week but if the Broncos are starting rookie Cox opposite him, one would have to figure that's where the Titans are going

BTW If I were an NFL coach I would not have the QB pick on Cox or Verner(Titans rookie getting first start) but that's a super common tactic in the NFL so I would not be surprised if one of these two makes a game changing play.

Why? Because he didn't answer your not-so-subtle WDIS question? You asked about Champ - he gave an excellent analysis about what Champ's devensive repsonsibilities will likely be this weekend. Champ doesn't always shadow one receiver. (Revis does and the corner in Oakland sometimes seems to). As such, Bri tried to give you insight as to what Champ will be doing (i.e. likely lining up where they think CJ will be). If you want to post a WDIS, take it to the Asst. Coach Forum, but don't rip a perfectly good answer.

The answer was 100X better than the question.

Britt or Washington?
Whichever one is one the open side of the formation or farthest outside (if both are on the same side).Neither one warrants that much attention, so the defense will play base coverage and not player specific.
