I'm probably crazy and haven't gotten enough sleep, but I'd feel comfortable drafting Cotchery over Jennings now. Easily. Being in a PPR league makes it even easier.

im down with Cotch. I dont think most have grasped how big this is for Cotch and Coles. The changing of the guard had already started on Cotchery stepping up as the go to guy. i think we will see it more than ever now.

my projections for Cotch are as follows:

Cotch, especially in a PPR league, but I wouldn't be taking them early. I think they will both be drafted ahead of where their production will put them.

Gah...the hype surrounding Cotchery will get way out of hand, especially if he gets some preseason love from Favre.

That being said, I wonder if Green Bay (and Aaron Rodgers) have enough time to get this behind them now, and concentrate on playing football instead of the soap opera. Feeling pretty leery about them right now...

Depends on the league, in a PPR I'd take Cotchery, in a standard league I'd take Jennings. They both hover around WR20 to me.

Your nuts. 920/12 last year for Jennings and he missed 3 games and this is his third "breakout" year. Hes still got the same amount of talent and still on a good offense.

I opened this thread to say the same thing - Cotch over Jennings, yesterday and today.

One of the reasons I think Jennings is a good enough talent to preform with any QB is that he lead the league in YAC per reception at 7.4. Way ahead of the field, Steve smith 5.2, Roddy White 5.7, Cotchery 5.4, Wayne 4.1. That speaks, in my mind, to explosive acceleration after the catch and not going down on first contact.

Me, too.

I had them pretty close. I thought Jennings was being a little overrated this year anyway. Last year's TD totals will be extremely hard to repeat, and I still see Driver as the go-to. Most of my leagues are PPR, and I really like the value in Driver and Cotchery over Jennings in that format.
