Who would you like to see as a head coach in the NFL (1 Viewer)

I'd love to see Marty Schottenheimer back at the helm of an NFL team. Bill Cowher is another guy that would automaticly get a team's fans excited. Who else would you like to see either back as a head coach or in that role for the first time?

Bill Cowher - Carolina Panthers

1) Played his college ball at NCSU

2) Currently lives in NC

3) Loves to RUN THE BALL!!!

Gruden is a no-brainer in my book.

I don't know that I'd like to see it, but I wonder how much temptation there will be for somebody to give Rob Ryan a shot eventually.

Tony dungy

Mike holmgren

Mike shanahan

Jon gruden

Bill Cower

Brian Billick

I would welcome any of those over lovie smith.

Jim Fassel. I know he had a bunch of ups and downs in NY, but I really thought he would get another shot at a head coaching gig, as some coaches are better the second time around.

Would love to see Matt Millen get a shot at coaching. The Skins ownership look like they'd be up for it. It is IMPERATIVE that he also get personnel control though. VERY KEY...

Cowher for sure. Man I miss that guy.

Shanahan

Cowher

Schottenheimer

Gruden

Holmgren

Amazing that none of those guys are head coaches right now, while guys like Jauron, Phillips, Zorn, etc. still are.

Gruden To much of a kiss ###, for trying to set himself up next year. Still don't get the love for him and his Chuckie stitch while taking Dungy's team to the S-Bowl.

Agreed minus one.

I never get this. If he loses credibility points for winning a SB with the team Dungy built, shouldn't he get them back for Callahan taking the Raider team he built to the Super Bowl in the same season?

Father Time probably wouldn't allow it, but I think Bill Snyder has the demeanor and skill to make for a good NFL coach. I would have liked to have seen him make the leap a decade or so ago.

I wouldn't mind seeing that LOAF I pinched this morning get a shot, if it meant the end of Eric Mangini's tenure with the Browns...

Marv Levy - Dude is 84 years old and lost 4 superbowls in a row. I'd like to see him win one, and I really don't care for the Bills.

John Madden - I wonder if the Madden curse would work on himself?

On a serious note, I really got nothing to add except to agree with the good ones already mentioned: Shanny, Cowher, Chucky. I wouldn't be surprised if all 3 of those guys are coaching next year.
