Of those choices, AP and AJ.

If we get write in votes, Ray Rice and Miles Austin.

CJ's workload is reaching danger level to me, even in year 3. At this rate, I'd be deathly afraid of starting a team with him and getting 1-2 years of production before watching him fall off a cliff, if not before due to injury.

AP will be around for awhile, and hes great. I think I'd rather have Rice though, who looks like he'll be around for a good long career, and is more versatile than either of them.

Austin rivals AJ for the title of best WR in the league, and has less tread on the tires.

I agree, except they were not options. I still think i would take Manning at QB though, even though i love Bradford.

This makes no since. AP has been in the league longer, and has a history of injuries.

i think ap can be serviceable longer than cj. he has a more versatile skillset. when his speed and explosion declines he will still be an adequate power back. when cj loses his step its game over.

There is a misconception that smaller players are more likely to get injured.

 Where do you people think these things up!?Talk about things that make no "since" I don't have the stats in front of me, so I can't give you the exact numbers. I think Purple Jesus has missed all of two games in his previous three seasons. Then he was limited/pulled in another two-3 due to injury. With the number of touches he has had over the course of that time I can't think of many backs that have been more durable over that span.88 carries for 480 yards at a 5.5 yd avg behind one of the worst lines in the NFL.

So I guess college doesn't count? I didn't call him injury prone, just said he had a history of them. You obviously just have your :homer: glasses on. People just assume Johnson is gonna get hurt do to his size or something. The comment I commented on is ridiculous due to it being based on something that is an assumption. You've obviously watched AP play. He runs aggressively and doesn't shy away from contact. I like him as a player. But to say he will have a longer career due to many reasons stated in this thread are ridiculous.

If this is my NFL franchise, I have a good talk with the coach and ensure CJ's workload decreases some and we get a plodder to pair him with. Heck, I'd trade for Brandon Jacobs. Too bad LenDale wasn't a better back, that duo would have worked.
