All depends on the first quarter. If the Bengals start off hot, they'll win by pulling Pitt away from their gameplan. If the Steelers can shut down Palmer and company early, they'll win by pounding the rock all day.

Just making sure you realize that the last game went that way and it took Cincinnati forcing 4 turnovers and getting a kickoff return for a TD to win by 7 points.Roethlisberger threw for almost 400 yards and the Steelers as a team had almost 500 yards of offense that day.

A shootout doesn't necessarily mean the Bengals win the game, although it gives them a much better chance.

Sure, Roethlisberger is a fine quarterback and more than capable of competing in a shoot-out. One major difference between this game and the last is the venue.. Cinci may not need those turnovers if the crowd can offer some 12th man assistance. Should be a great game.

I wanted to pick Cin because Big Ben has not played very well in big games but then I thought Palmer does not have any experience in the post season; so that comparison is a wash. What is left is the running game and defense which I think the Steelers will win.I predict a low scoring game decided by turnovers especially by the QB.

Didn't the Bengals have more rushing yards in game 2?

Well if the game turns into a shootout Cincy has the better shot at winning. Big Ben loses games where he has to throw the ball too often, go back and look at the games he started and they lost. The 12th Man in Cincy might sound good, but look where Cincy lost their games at home. That being said neither is a Super Bowl contender this year, if Cincy can fix their defense next year, look out, the offense is going to return pretty much intact. That being said if Cincy can jump to a early lead, they should win this game. Playoff experience favors Pitts but these teams know each other so I am hoping for a great game and Cincy Victory only because I don't want to see Indy embarass Pittsburgh the following week.

If the Steelers can protect the football and their special teams continues to play like they have in the past 4 games, the Steelers will win.

I think the Steelers are the better team, but it's close enough that home field makes this a coinflip. This game will change the complexion of the AFC playoffs. If I had to pick, I'd pick the Steelers because they've been there before, but it's close.
