If DD was in Seattle would he be an MVP candidate?

If Alexander was in Houston would the Texans be drafting Reggie Bush?

Please give me your opinions as well as vote.

:bag:

forget situation...talent is talent

let's say all NFL teams redraft tomorrow: shaun alexander would be one of the first RB's selected while dominick davis would be fortunate to be one of the first 32 selected

SA... do I really need to defend this stance?
Yeah seriously. DD is a very, very underrated talent, and perhaps even Alexander is a bit overrated.... but I think the production, no matter the supporting casts around either, has to eliminate any possible talk.Perhaps they are even the same talent pool, but it's tough for an argument to hold water when there is nothing but blind speculation.

DD might have some incredible moves, but his line doesn't block enough for us to know.

hard to upshoot the league MVP and a guy who just set the TD record.

Why all the Shaun Alexander hate? How can he not be talented. I would say Terrel Davis was talented and he had a great O line and team. I don't think Seatle would be good without SA.

It's funny, I hold the opinion that DD is a very, very OVERrated talent. I think Alexander's talent is a little overrated too, but he's still an excellent back that just isn't quite as good as he looks whereas DD is a below average back who puts up good fantasy numbers but hurts his offense by constantly putting in a hole on 1st downs.Davis is not a legit starter, which kind of works out because he won't ever start again.

I'm no fan of Alexander, he, along with Larry Johnson benefit immensely from their lines, but Dom isn't close to his talent.
