This is assuming he plays of course. I've seen reports saying he'll work on Landry underneath, but I've also seen a report saying he'll shadow Rishard. Just curious if any Jets fans or locals have an opinion on this. Thanks.

I'm not sure who he'll guard this week, but I recall Revis followed Landry in the later game (after Landry became relevant) last year until it was out of hand. Landry did rack up decent stats in the 2nd half after the Jets Pats moved to a less aggressive defense.

Word is Buster Skrine is getting Landry. I'd avoid Rishard Matthews this week. Party may be on hold for a bit.

I could be wrong but it seems like they move him to whoever is doing the most damage. So even if Skrine starts off on Landy, Revis moves over to him if Landry is taking their lunch money?

Revis Island doesn't exist. He does not shadow a player the way he used to be used.

Why does this stuff ever come out in the first place? Isn't how you're gameplanning matchups of coverage kind of an important thing to keep a lid on?

Revis Island -- if indeed even exists anymore -- typically doesn't shadow the slot.
