Who's starting or considering starting Roddy & if so, w/confid (1 Viewer)

Have a gut feeling that Ryan, Douglas, white, and gonzo will be putting up numbers tonight. I'm pretty sure this game will be all about pride for the falcons. They would like nothing more than to beat their main rival at home and play spoiler

Ryan isn't even looking at him on the outside. And he's had 10 straight completions. Pretty disheartening it you started this guy.

Ryan will not look to his right, period. And that's where Roddy has been on all but one snap.

Announcers say they're working on this White kid, and they're probably right. Just left, left, left, left.

This. Ryan wasn't even looking at him. WTF!?!?! I know they were picking on the newbie in the secondary. But wow, if Roddy is healthy, why aren't they trying to get him the ball? Unreal.

Roddy looked like he was just a decoy all night. Disgusting...........

I seriously didn't get that. I know the new guy in the secondary was getting torched by the UDFA rookie, but Roddy's your pro-bowl WR for the past however many years... why wouldn't you try to find ways to get him the ball? Throw a screen? run some crossing routes, something.

It honestly seemed like Roddy wasn't even involved one iota in the game plan...

So frustrating.

If you have to ask this question and they weren't double teaming him, its a problem. I guess I'll be starting him without confidence going forward.

my other options suck so I'm going to give him one more chance this next week with Buffalo. If he doesn't have his best game of the season, which is not even asking that much, I'm going to drop him for best wr available.

It's tough to blame him completely for last night. Ryan was not even looking at him the entire game. It was clear roddy was not a part of this gameplan. If it happens again its a trend and he's off my team. One trend that is continuing is he is an epic bust. We start 3 wr and I am hoping he can be a decent wr3. Not looking good

Droppable? 2 rec for 24 yards.
I'm afraid so. And I traded Andre Johnson for him the day after Julio Jones got hurt.... I thought he'd be a stud.

The thing is, even if he goes nuts next week, I'm not putting him in my lineup because I don't trust that he can do it on a regular basis.

Tossing around the idea of starting Roddy this week. As a true 'what-the-heck-flex' option, can this be the week he returns to form against Fantasy's worst defense against WRs? With Torrey and Keenan seeing tougher match-ups, may pull the trigger. :oldunsure:

Starting rod streater over roddy.

Would like to start roddy but streater has actually done something the past couple weeks and also has a nice matchup. Who knows what atl is doing. ..seems like roddy is ryans 4th read after gonzo, douglas and johnson. Ouch

I think we are to the point where you ALWAYS have an equal option when considering Roddy. I keep starting him, knowing the week I bench him when he plays that he will go off for "Roddy-type" numbers, but I also have other guys going off on the bench too. I have been starting him (when he plays) in lieu of guys like Chris Ivory and Ryan Mathews in the flex spot...at this rate, I need to see him have a "normal" game before I start him again...just frustrating when you spend a 2nd rounder on the guy, but honestly, we are waaaaay too deep into the season to worry about where we drafted guys.
