Why didn't Bowe get a 1000 yards? (1 Viewer)

Needed 18 freaking yards and Uncle Herm couldn't find a way to get him the ball? Freaking pathetic. The kid has given his all this year and is shorted by his numb-skull coach who has nothing to lose in the last game of the season.

Thumbs down

1. Because Brodie Croyle is the worst starting QB in the NFL

2. Because Mike Solari is the worst Off. Coord. in the NFL

3. Because the KC Off. Line is the worst in the NFL.

I think those three suffice

Yup...that will do.Thanks. Sorry you have to root for those guys. Although, I am a Lion's fan and understand what pain is.

1. Croyle isn't the worst, but he's close.2. Solari just does what Herm tells him to do. Correction: Because Herman Edwards is the worst HC in the NFL.3. Tied with the Jets.

Very disappointed in this post. Herman Edwards wasn't mentioned? He HAS to be the worst coach ever. He took a high powered offense that ranked at the top in nearly every offensive stat and two years later thinks 20 points is alot. This guy is a complete joke. There is a reason there are only 18 Jets left from the time Herman left. He talks and talks but accomplishes nothing. I can't believe owners actually believe the guy, he's 100% full of #### :goodposting:

You also need to realize that people get old:Will Shields retiresWillie Roaf retiresCasey Weigmann regressesEddie Kennison regressesTy Law regressesPatrick Surtain regressesDante Hall regresses and then is tradedTrent Green gets hurt, regresses and then gets tradedYou also need to realize that injuries happenLarry Johnsonaforementioned Trent GreenHerman Edwards took over the OLDEST TEAM IN THE NFL. **** Vermeil loved older players and that is what KC had. I say all of this in defending Edwards, but I do not think much of hiis philosophies when it comes down to gameday. He would make a fine DC in my mind, but the man seems to be so inept offensively -- of course that could be a lack of talent.

Wow... this season had a staggering effect on KA. Six months ago, the Chiefs were a very good team that was going to improve on its playoff standing a year ago. Those of us who said differently simply didn't know what we were talking about.

I'm not kicking you while you are down, Kevin, I completely sympathize. I'm just amazed at the turnaround here.

...aaaaand you forgot #44. They were forcing the ball to TG to get him his records. However, TG will catch EVERYTHING remotely close to him even with 3 defenders hanging from his arms! The catches he can make in traffic are nothing short of amazing!

When your team just went to the playoffs -- I don't care what might be in the future, I think it is unwarranted.....this franchise had not been this low in 20 years, so predicting it was far-fetched.....like predicting the Bengals to win a playoff game...but it DID happen, so everyone reveled in my exuberance.

FWIW, OC Mike Solari was fired yesterday, along with three other asst. coaches.....so it looks like Herm and Carl will be back.

My first prediction of the year regarding KC ---- they will be no better than 6-10 in 2008. No change in GM or HC is asinine after the season they had.

Buffalo lost 17 players to Injured Reserve, and that isn't counting the other injuries they faced. They still finished 7-9 and alot of their players are very raw. I just can't give Herman an out on this.

This is not an issue and it is not important, he had 16 games to get those yards. 1000 yards, who cares unless there is a bonus in his contract.
