Why do you think FBG ranks Peppers #15 DL against Atlanta? (1 Viewer)

Atlanta and Harrington have let up 10 sacks. I know the cheatsheets are great, and I use them religiously.

So I am curious why Peppers is ranked so low against the Falcons? On the surface for a layman like me I would think he is a huge play this week.

I have James Hall right now who is ranked number 2. Peppers is available for blind bidding.

Just curious what the reasons could be from some of our more astute football jumkies.

Thanks

Have you seen Peppers involved on any sacks or tackles lately? The answer is no! I hope that changes because I'm a Carolina Homer, but he's got to get involved in the game. So far this year, that has NOT happened. :lmao: Like I said, hopefully this changes this week.

The most recent projections have Peppers #10 in FBG standard scoring, which is a little tackle heavy. He's projected with the third most expected sacks though, and only one fantasy point out of the top ten behind a few players with similar stats who've been projected with some fractional FF/FR stats. Norton does the projections, so specific answers would have to come from him. I doubt he would start Kelly or Carter over Peppers this week, but I know he tries to stay true to the process for the projections.

I agree that Peppers is a great play this week, but you have to be bold to project multiple sacks for any player and the consistent tackle guys often get a fraction more love in our base scoring system and rankings.
