Why I love the preseason (1 Viewer)

First, hope springs eternal in the preseason. When you are watching your team, its all positive. If your team does something good, you can feel good about it. If your team does something bad, you can just shrug it off. Its only preseason, afterall.

Second, You can appreciate the game of football for what it is. You don't have to be in "fantasy mode" all the time. Sure, you can use the preseason games as a scouting tool, but even if your guys (or your potential guys) do very little, you don't have to blow a gasket. Its only preseason, afterall.

You don't have to be in fantasy mode for the regular season either. I agree with you about appreciating the game of football for what it is...although that's a lot more fun during the regular season.

I agree, and this is one of the things I love about college football (and High School). I know there are FF college leagues, but I won't be in them.I also love the overanalyzation that goes in to each move.
